    What a shame, that beautiful property, could you imagine restoring that place to a business label. Greetings from Hallandale Beach Florida, thank you for sharing my Puerto Rico 🇵🇷.

    Thank you for sharing this video. My grandmother was born in Rio Pietro, Lares. I often wondered what the area was like. Wow, it is beautiful. I imagine the cemetery may hold her relatives. She lost her parents during a pandemic period. She passed in Florida short of her 100 birthday. Thank you for showing this beautiful area.👍👍✌️❤️🇵🇷🤗

    Muy buen video que vistas tan bonitas en las montanas que rodean la hacienda, aparenta ser un lugar espiritual en el que en el antepasado se trabajo y se lucho fuerte para proveer a la familia para haci vivir en tranquilidad sin las injusticias que hace varias gerenaciones existian en europa. Video con vistas lindas

    That photo of the hacienda from 1928 is wonderful. I often wish there were more historical photos of the area easily accessible. I learned where we live was part of an old coffee plantation and there was a very successful orange plantation right next to us as well. I would SO love to see some old photos. Can’t believe you almost lived deeper in the mountains than we do! 😉

    • @LifeTransPlanet
      @LifeTransPlanet  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Shannon! We really do love Lares and this area in particular. It is a bit isolated, but that was part of the appeal to us. I wish there were more historical photos as well. I have seen a few more of Rincon and many in San Juan, but few in the deep mountains like this.

    How come there are no plantations in PR like the pineapple plantations in Hawaii?

      Maybe you could convince an orange farmer from Fl to move to PR and open a pineapple or other tropical fruit farm in PR!

      Hi Gbenro! There are some mostly down in the southern parts. Pineapples need it a little drier and work better on flat land instead of hilly. Oranges and coffee do really well in the hilly, mountainous areas. Mangos and avocados do well in Rincon/Mayaguez. Each area has a slightly different climate for growing things.
