Tbh, I never cared how long it took for updates to release without voldex. Every single leak I saw had me hyped up for every AMAZING update.

I was playing this game since it was created, and named "Wayfort Alpha",
but then, it slowly became a game about grinding and casino for kids
thank god you stated the name, alpha. i could not remember it. remember the long highway, crappy chassis, those houses near the dealer (or far, dont rember much) and that sooo small dealership, which was black, with those spinning wheels (6 of them) with cars on top, where the best car was the koenigsegg agera? good times. came back from school 4 years ago, started playing it, i felt soo happy that this is better than vehicle sim. i dont play much anymore, because this game got worse and worse. THIS VOLDEX RUINED IT.
we thought voldex would improve the game, abit they did, but they did make it alot worse. i swear, i just want to go back 4 years ago.
those days when loud music would get you banned off the game.. those days when the car meets was near the dealer, then they all would race in the highway.. then next update, those days you could do car meets near kfc... people with bugattis and venom gts flexing their aerodynamic spoiler. those women or roleplayers roleplaying in the houses. golden days. i feel bad for bourgist man. it makes me sad thinking about this game.
first game i ever played, is now dead, it will never be forgotten. im gonna miss it though.

As a player who's been around since alpha, this video made me cry. It's sad to see that this game has come into this state. Voldex and the community both had their part for this game's downfall. Bourgist and the old development team put out a lot more effort with the game and model qualities, sad to see that so many of these things that made DE a great game is gone. It's been fun DE.

i still remember the time when it was still wayfort, after i stopped to play the game a bit, i was really surprised how it changed but when i see what voldex did with the crate system, i think driving empire will never be on top ever again, also another drama started happened as soon the ferrari removal happened, some people got high suspicious on voldex since other game such as Greenville, SWFL... didnt bother to remove/put offsale ferrari vehicle, same for pagani vehicle and didnt even got anys issue that caused a rumor that voldex fake the whole stuff about they need to remove brand since that infect also the whole car driving community

I really like the way where the game is going right now on my new account, but im still missing the old cars and events I got before… that’s sad
I remember playing driving empire game when it was still called Wayfort, and even then, the game was still plain and just a grindfest, i eventually managed to get an hypercar, but that was it, after that i left the game entirely, and i would come back to it once every 6 months or more, at one point i thought the game was removed entirely from roblox.
i know, there isn’t much interesting on this comment, just wanted to leave out my thoughts.
As of right now vehicle legends has more players then driving empire
Also one time I joined driving empire was so dead it once had 912 players that dead
Bugatti being the first to go was the most heartbreaking. Such a huge amount was gone from players

It’s still fairly popular.I think what’s keeping it’s player base from completely plummeting to the ground is that they still update the game.Though the game has indeed not as popular as it was before.
As a Valk, CLK GTR Coupe, MGT owner as well as a Wayfort player, its really sad to see the game falling apart. Tbh i miss the old Wayfort just like the others. DE isnt that good but at least it was still ballin.
Adding cash crates is fine for me, but adding premium crates is definitely the beginning of the downfall. Sad to see it goes
Remembered when I first played this game in September 2019 on the old map good times playing hide n seek with SixThrone and old mods Lutz met some good people over the years and im glad I got to experience it in its golden years.

Vehicle legends was basically my childhood... It fell off alot. 😭
i played de when the game launched. some "rich" or something, friend of mine started playing it as it came out, i joined him. it felt a boring game but later go addicted to it. there was this porsche that costed around 40k i bought and then everytime i would see a bugatti i would just ask them to race. lol
time really pass quickly.
ps: i quit the game most of the time with big gaps like 5 months, i never got to see driving champion lol
I rememeber playing this game before all the devs being replaced and stuff, i wasnt really a big fan of the game back then. But i really enjoyed the simulation and stuff, i got my favourite ferrari after a while, i stop playing for a while because i have other things to do.
Looking back at this game is a mess. I just wish Voldex never bought this game.

Everyday i used to be exited to come home and play DE with my friends and now i don't even wanna look at it and wonder how people even play it.
The reason why I stopped uploading….
Used to play when it still was Wayfort on my potato PC , I've seen this game evolve so much , enjoying it so much ( even if i didn't made it to buy ultra expensive cars ) , I've seen the big map changes and else. Now i see one of my favorite Roblox Car game die. Literally. Same for Full Throttle ( if i remember right ) so much memories with many games that died. But this DE should've never gone so wrong. I feel so sad now ... i hope it will not get to the "200 players online" state which would mean the death of it.
I can’t remember what it’s called but there is another game that started to add different countries to drive in and hit some of it highest player counts ever but then removed the Nissan r34 and soon after removed every other country
I joined in last early last year and it was the best car game ive ever played i would always play it and the difference from then and now is so sad
and this is why i switched to swfl, no offense to de cuz its a good game. great graphics and almost realistic car models really makes me play the game more before voldex came. even though swfl is not really to be compared to de but the update they released everytime is just 10/10. sure, the update might take a long time but clearly strigid works very hard to make their game even better thru the times

If they take inspiration from drive world or vehicle legends with their fake car models they can recover. The lambo sto in drive world for example. Lamborghini can't say its a lambo because in reality it's not but it's still recognizable to players. Colour scheme and everything. Shape. Or bugatti chiron. Change the small details. That way the game can recover.

It was very sad as an OG player to see this game rise and destroyed, I didn’t mind the crates personally until my Murci SV was removed. This eventually led me to quit the game entirely, I thought that there was no point in ever playing this game again. If this continues, it’ll doom the whole car community of Roblox.

I lost basically every single limited edition ferrari and the 812 comp, miura sv, and diablo. And I can feel your pain.
The Alpha tester Merci SV being removed was the beginning of me quitting the game, and that was over a year ago. The crates were the final nail in the wall.
man i still dont get WHY car companies copyright strike games like, isnt it free advertising? like bro, if i had a car company i would freely let people use my brand in their games as long as they dont plagiarize it, i would need them to get permission from me the owner of the brand first before they use it in their game, and for free, like, can't we just drive our dream cars
well yea thats kinda the whole reason why they got removed. they didn't have licensing for it and didn't have permission.

i only ever played it as wayfort, eventually came back to it when it was renamed and didnt like it lol
I wonder which party is to blame for causing this, voldex for the trash update or the fatherless kids who reported the game to the irl companies.

@@HoodOnFire still around, just hasn't grown at all since 2017. Since then I think it's lost its magic. The new map gets rid of the small town setting in favor of a cut-and-paste city, the new driving doesn't feel fast or exciting, and all of the other games aside from Westover and Odessa are dead. Nobody roleplays or does races, it's basically just driving around a boring map at this point.
just came back to this game expecting new and exciting content, instead all my best cars got removed, i just have an empty inventory and almost 300m...
Heh, I never really played Driving Empire but I played tons of Wayfort.
Not gonna lie, my heart lies with Vehicle Simulator beta, I consider that to be the peak of ROBLOX driving sims.
Kinda stopped caring about all of them once I got Forza and Assetto Corsa
Old DE was probably the best time ive ever had in the game sad to see this happen, but it was bound to happen it had its fame and im still probably gonna play it every now and then but I miss it, GREAT video/ documentary about it

I played this game when it was called way fort but after half an hour I left, I played driving empire after an year and realised wayfort was renamed, I built interest and got a Lamborghini Murcielago and stopped playing again.after a more year I was so sad that Lamborghini was gone😢but then I grinded for a McLaren and now I finally play this game non stop

2021/22 Driving Empire was the best, I'm glad that it happened. Late 2021 was when Driving Empire got a glow up, and 2022 was when there were so much fun updates despite being released monthly. And now I'm still playing this game unless it gets worse then i might wanna migrate to a different game, but that's a nice documentary of Driving Empire you made there. Reminds me of the good DE times.

I’ve played DE since the Wayfort days and Quit last year when I got a Wheel and moved to games on steam like Assetto Corsa, BeamNG and RFactor 2. Even though DE is a bad game, I still had fun playing it.
A tiny mistake they have done caused the whole community to quit the game..
