BOTW and TOTK are just open world games with Zelda elements. Id rather have a smaller game with more pronouced dungeons, unique challenges and items, and more characters with personality.
These games are overrated as hell. THANK you for this. I hate the exploration cause of the reward. There's no real incentive to explore personally.
