I have looked at Athlon Optics and I purchased one of the cheaper rifle scope. I also considered Vortex Razor but end the end, I brought a TRACT TORIC 4-20x50mm UHD. I have seen several reviews on the TRACT TORIC 4-20x50mm, but will be glad when you get your hands on one for testing.
Been running an Athlon Argos BTR 6 - 24×50 on a Savage Mk.2 .22LR Have gotten groups at 25 and at 50 yards that I could cover with a dime and a quarter respectively. No complaints whatever. Have pushed it out to 200 and got consistent hits on a 6" square steel and got one hit on a 12" target at 342 yards.
I shoulda stopped my brass prep when this video came on. Lost three pieces of Lapua for my 6.5 Beeblur down the sump pump! Fortunately, they weren't brand spankin' new! :-D

they are decent rifles. when they came out I got a 6.5 and then picked up the 6 when it came out. for the money they are hard to beat in a chassis style rifle. offers from tikka and Bergara will give you a better action in the price range. I've saw the 6mmcm selling around $750 online. if I were gonna get one today that's what I would do and use the $ you save to rebarrel it to what ever caliber you like in a short action. just my $0.02
Very interested in hearing your results on the tracking as other channels here on the tube are claiming this scope has "perfect" tracking along with the burris xtr 2. Perfect is a mighty high standard.
my personal favorite ufo interdiction weapon is a twin 40mm Bofors anti-air cannon mounted on my urban assault vehicle. whether near or far, in air or on ground it works remarkably well for any and all space aliens mounted or on foot. p.s. please dont tell anyone about my twin 40mm/UAV.

That scope a d barrel clearance though.... perfection

I like everything but that side folder and stock in general. They now do Magnum calibers which is interesting.

I use synthetic motor oil. It's rated for winter use. Correct?!!?

I have a athlon Argos on my Howa1500. It's alright. Clarity isnt there, but it's not terrible.
