I agree! Do you know of those pre-alpha game trailers they come out with where they say something along the lines of, "footage is subject to change"? That's exactly what happened here; this is the pilot pitch animation before TeamTO and Blizzard/Activision Studios take the pilot under their wing and polish out the animations and environment rendering to make them look smoother and more life-like, edit in more realistic sound effects, and improve on the voice acting. There's nothing wrong with how Brent Walters Studio created this fan-made episode, (Although, Spyro winking at the viewer when he first appeared on-screen was a bit cheesy in my opinion.) it's simply what storyboard writers/authors call a rough draft. This studio did an overall amazing job on this animation and I look forward to what else they have in store for us.
Adding to what I said earlier, I'd say that they'll change the name of the series if TeamTO and Blizzard Entertainment are to greenlight this fan-made animation. The name may be changed to something like "Spyro's Origins" or "The Legend of Spyro".

I don’t know if words can describe how much I appreciate this, it feels like part of my childhood is finally gonna be completed. So just know that I fully support you. It sounds crazy but it almost felt like fate, this is a wonderful Christmas gift you have given the Skylanders community.

I love to see how this is going! The sounds need work but in all that it is really well constructed. I don't think Cynder's voice fits well with her but the actor did a good job protraying her, so applause for that🎉

As a fan of the original Netflix show, I like This already. My one hope is that you introduced more skylanders as a series that has more than a 100 of them, they only showed like twelve In the original show And a lot of them have very eccetric personalities.
I haven’t seen anything of Skylanders Academy in a long time or just anything Skylanders in general, so seeing this was like a nostalgia trip for me! Not to mention that this is a nice way of continuing the original show even though it’s fan-made! Aside from some of the voice acting needing a little improvement, which is just a nitpick, the portrayals of the characters and the animation are done nicely as well! Also was not expecting Cali to be in this and Sparx is so far a favorite of mine! The character designs look a lot like the original style of the show, like it a lot! Looking forward to more of this, keep up the good work! 😊
It’s really cool, even with Cynder’s telekinesis scene that you somehow manage to put in. Will the next one be her flashbacks from the previous episodes focusing on her and Spyro? And if it’s not too creepy or weird to ask, is it possible to join you on your next chapter? If not with the last part, I guess it’s okay if I don’t, I always want to see season 4.
So excited. A year of waiting is finally over. I wasn't expecting to see a scared Malwfor at the very beginning. That new enemy seems to be powerfull if even that dragon seems afraid of it. But I'm worried about Cynder. Not onky does she miss Spyro. Something seems to slowly posses her. Can't wait for the next chapter. Keep up the awesome work.

Academy season 4 was such a wasted opportunity, it was a surprisingly underrated show even with its flaws and that god awful theme song. Great job on this!
Cool and smooth animations, and the story seems interesting. Although voice acting is either really quiet or the characters sound off. Like at the beginning, I couldn't hear what malefor was saying at all.
