sir 🙏, you answered my previous question, thank you so much 🤗, now i have one more question please tell me 🙏 mainly i just want to buy this headphone for learning English in a quiet environment, i will use it while practicing speaking, so the question is when i use normal earphone like Qkz dm7 and practice speaking, i feel echo in my ears that means i cannot hear my words clearly. so if you ensure that while using the w820nb plus if the echo comes in my ears or not? i heard that the echo doesn't come in over year headphone, please tell me sir , it would be better for me, I am going to buy this headphone by 2 days. my main target is I want to practice speaking, reading and listening in a quiet without hearing the echo in my ears and as I am practicing speaking, I need to hear my voice in a low sound in my ears . please tell me sir, Love from Bangladesh 🧡
I think they would be ok for that with the transparency mode. Unfortunately I sold them last week so I can't check 😢 but yeah generally over ear headphones are a bit better when it comes to the occlusion effect you're describing
I am in a situation where my neighbor plays music loudly, so can W820NB plus reduce the speaker sound? i just want to use headphones to reduce the noise so that I can study well, which is better for me? 🙄 Help please?
Listen to the Binaural sample you can hear how much noise reduction there is from that recording. Without hearing the noise in your house myself it's difficult to say but hopefully that sample will give you an indication of what you expect
This is such an excellent review. Thank you! I have been researching and leaning towards the W820NB Plus, based on my budget, but out of nowhere, I saw a JBL Tune 720 BT that, unfortunately, does not have much reviews. By any chance, have you tried that one, too? If yes, in your opinion, which one is closer to a natural/flat sound? I just got curious with the JBL one cos of its customizable EQ in their app + multiple connection
@@ReganCipher Oh great! Yes, I have Android, and I haven't thought of that! I will definitely check out Wavelet! Last question, please, between 820NB plus and the WH700NB, which one for you is closer to a more natural/flat sound out of the box? Thank you very much for your reply, by the way. You answering all our comments in here is very much appreciated and definitely got me to hit that sub button
@@johnnylektric Thank you, appreciated! 820NB+ is a bit more neutral-sounding, the bass isn't as prominent and the treble rolls off slightly quicker. Here's a visual comparison - regancipher.squig.link/?share=Edifier_WH700NB,Edifier_WH820_Plus
@@ReganCipher Aah I see! The visual comparison helped a lot as well! I put more faith in your ears than mine, since I see you are a producer + DJ hehe! Looks like I'm back to my original plan with the 820NB+ Thank you again, man! Appreciate it!
Hello, I have an EDIFIER WH500 and it have an option to have a customize 3 band EQ (no just a preset) option, it s an important feature for me as i found the sound a bit lacking in high and medium clarity/definition. Are you sure the w820bn + didnt have it ? Does your edifier connect app is update to the latest release ? Im thinking to buy this w820bn + but the lack of this features make me doubt... Thanks.
Hi, yeah I make sure everything is up to date before testing. There's no custom EQ on this model (I do have it on some other Edifier models though). Are you using Android or IOS? If Android, you could always use Wavelet
@@ReganCipherThanks for the answer, i checked other recent video and yeah no option for this headphone. I will check wavelet, but i also using it for pc.
@Mn-xh9ps yeah that's right. I included binaural samples of each preset on my review of the 700 - you might find the classical preset to your liking if you prefer a bit more treble, although the 820 have much cleaner highs and mids than the 700 regardless of preset
@@ReganCiphery i have already watch it and come to the same conclusion. I prefer the 820 for this reason (and classical preset) but cheaper and better autonomy off the 700 is tempting (even if 48 hours is already enough). What do you think, does the 820 better sound worth the 20euro more, even without using ldac codec as i mainly will using it with my pc ? How impact full would be ldac codec on android phone ? Do you hear the better precision/clarity/detail gain ? Or just EQ changing a bit... (im thinking i wont hear a lot of differency but could be wrong) Oh, and i m curious what do you use for your binaural test ? true binaural earbud like Roland CS-10EM Binaural Earphone ? or apple airpod ?
I prefer 820nb+. H3 clamping force is too tight. I also prefer the cleaner sound of the Edifier but you can listen to my 'Binaural Sound Test' comparison video and decide that for yourself. ANC is stronger on Edifier, only unfortunate thing is they don't fold
hi! great video!! i’m debating on getting the edifier w820nb plus and the new haylou s30 ANC pro that just came out i want good noise cancellation and transparency mode but also less bulky headphones, is there one you recommend for everyday use? with price for value in mind
Thank you! Did you watch my video on the S30? I do quite like both of these models. IMO the 820NB+ have a cleaner sound, and the ANC is definitely stronger, but the S30 is cheaper, it can fold (the 820's can't!) and they feel better quality. The 820's are a bit more plasticky-feeling. Both are amongst the more comfortable budget headphones from a clamping force perspective. Neither are especially bulky, both fit the contours of your head pretty well. I guess it would come down to those things, and how much the price difference is. The S30 are very good at the reduced price (there's a link and a voucher code in my review of them)
Yeah I know, if I try and load the headphone curve on Squiglink it just gives me a 'headphone not found' error. I've been trying to sort it for weeks but if you mess around too much with squig everything breaks 😭 I have a bunch of things here still to review - QCY H3, Realme Buds Air 5 Pro, Huawei FreeBuds Pro 3, Haylou S30 and a few IEMs. Didn't get any reply from Tranya yet unfortunately 😢
