Can You Beat The Escapists 2 Without Gaining Heat?

- The Escapists 2 is a very simple game at times. For being in a prison, you have a lot of freedom to as you want with very few consequences. But how challenging is the game if I have to beat every prison without gaining any guard heat?

Many have noticed I did gain heat at the end of Rattlesnake Springs which I missed! I have attempted the prison again as well as correcting other mistakes in a separate video, which is linked in the description!
Maybe if you exited out of The Mineshaft when it was nighttime you would not have gotten Heat
Honestly better than other challenge videos where they take it to serious and punishing
Man, this literally flips the whole game, instead of being aggressive and strong, you need to be avoid every fly from 1 mile radius, and be on every breakfast,job,shower. etc

In Rattlesnake you got 30 heat from the snipers at the end, though I doubt there's much that could have been done about that one

Just leave while lights are out
Alternatively, use the speedrun strategy. Reset until you have an iron bar in either your desk or cellmate's desk. Then rush the lowest point of 2nd floor (right above the main entrance). Use the iron bar to break a wall and just walk out. Snipers won't give heat, and you will usually escape before roll call is even over.
Another way you can get the key in HMP offshore without getting heat is friending someone and making them beat up the guard for you
I did consider if that was possible in this game but you can only do that in the first game and not in The Escapists 2

@@IdotGamin you could circumvent any sort of restriction or challenge if you allow another player to do all the work
Sometimes the other prisoners will naturally fight the guards, so I believe it could be possible for them to knock out the red key guard.
as others have said you gained heat at 9:54 but the way to circumvent that is to just go when snipers are gone so it should be considered kinda beat because if you do it again you would only be wasting your time because it is possible
This was honestly professional quality. Well edited, the music was enjoyable as background. It was a little hard to hear you over the music when you were talking, but it's very possible it's just my bad hearing at work. I'm really excited to see this channel grow, because it definitely will if you keep churning out quality like this!

Escapists? I haven’t heard that name in years.
Doing the elaborate special escapes instead of perimeter breakouts was a lot more fun for me when I played.
You could skip rattlesnake springs by grabbing a iron bar then going to the second floor making a hole in the wall then escaped

This video is made very well, and it's better than virtually every video I've seen from a youtuber under 100k subs, and better than quite a few videos I've seen from 1 mil youtubers.

This would be impossible in the original, you get heat for standing slightly too close to a wall/door.
I remember the first game being very unforgiving so if there was a way of doing the challenge, it will not be easy. That would not be enough to stop me from trying it though haha
when I first saw the video, I thought it meant if you could avoid the alert level going up, but no, this is much harder

I do use them first sometimes if I think its worth it but most of the time I just upgrade right away. I get what you mean though haha

I tried doing this on Wicked Ward DLC prison and it was really fun! Recommend it!

me using this as a tutorial cuz im to lazy to search for one
im on HMP offshore its so stressful oml i was wandering why i couldn't go down but i realised i cut the bottom fence so i panicked but i quickly managed to break the second fence and got down no guard saw me and i fled tysm for the strat

I haven't watched the video yet, bit I'm just gonna say I know this will be pain. If you're even a MILIMETER away from the spot you're meant to be, boom. Heat. If you get seen looting a desk, boom. Heat.
These small things that normally barely do anything, now become an instant loss.

I remember when i started playing i maxed out my strength and soloed three guards at once and an armed guard with no weapons
I love how you didn’t just use speedrun tricks the whole time.
On K.A.P.O.W you can find sugar mints in desks but it is kinda rare (from my personal experience)
Meanwhile I didn't know you could find them *anywhere else.*

I know this 11 months old but couldnt u just do the classic iron bar escape on rattlesnake springs?
for KAPOW camp you can just pick up the desks and move them to the bathroom or bread room in the cabin

Maybe I can. I usually get the mints from knocking out guards but I guess the solo escape would also be possible.

That’s true, I completely missed that! The rattlesnake springs escape should still be possible anyway but I will still retry the escape.
but like thats unfair cuz he did nothing wrong a guard didn't see him so its not really failed either way he could retry and it would prob be done correctly

Hard mode idea
You gain dubble heat
Tools have halfe hp
Intelect is collected sligtly slower
For transpott maps other npc like the nurses notify a cop of youre location but not any further cus that would be ro op
Half tool hp and slower intellect is tedious, not hard

Some interesting suggestions but most of them just make the escape take longer to do rather than making it harder

Nope. It still maxes out guard heat. I assume it registers as you attacking a guard which gives the heat, but the damage you do is extremely high which knocks them out
you got heat at the end of rattlesnake springs but i dont think its possible to dodge
It is easy to dodge if I did the escape at night!
