Rabbi what I understand about the choice thing is , that whatever we choose wether for the good or for bad and I believe it’s with many things. It then becomes Hashem’s choice then it is controlled from above. This is a year old already I hope I will get an answer. Thank you

It never is! How can it be? Which of of the three? Mind, body, or soul travels back to HaShem? Your soul!
The body is thee vessel that carries the Soul!
When the human body comes to term, stops working, the special time period when the body lays in rest on the Special Tallis, with the candles around it, so the Soul lifts out of the body to travel back to HaShem with its Torah still inside the soul!
I learned this some 56 years ago!

SOUL => SOIL => SOL => SOLE
The Soul is not the "spiritual" entity that you've been taught. HaNishamah is your actual Holding in Eretz Yisrael. You were taught that your Soul is a spiritual entity in order to disinherit your of your Holding and keep you in the galut. I'll prove this with HaShem's Help in the Hebrew response to this comment.

The letter Tav in Torah is ACTUAL LAND
The Nashamah is actual Land. S'far, the same letters as Sefer is a Frontier. You've been taught all that spiritual yada yada by those who would keep you in thrall and helpless in the galut

What causes the soul to be tortured? Is it because its experiencing the slaying of people in the land?
