I got the impression that lets people showed up this year because of covid and such, but I'm pretty sure it'll pick back up in a couple years. I got intend to go back in June when they had the spring meet.
Hey Adrian, I moved to Chicago recently. Gonna go back to your previous state park videos and see if I can visit some on the weekends now that I'm a couple of hours from Indiana.
Up further north though I know there's a park called Turkey Run which I hear is very nice and it's supposed to be one of the best parks in Indiana. I've never been because it's quite a ways for me.
@@shreyansdoshi I don't do video for them anymore so I probably won't be there unless work sends me, which is a possibility. If you get to go to Turkey Run let me know how it is, but I've heard it's very cool. If I can find an event in Chicago to justify driving up there I'd like to go to the field museum. Last time I visited Sue (T-Rex), that museum is pretty awesome. I hear the aquarium is also cool but I haven't been there.
@@irongeek Oh cool. Will surely share pictures with you once I've been to Turkey Run. Oh cool! I've yet to visit the museums in the city. Hopefully next weekend. The parking in the city sucks though. I guess it's similar to other cities. Really miss the life in my nice little Dallas suburb.😄
Man I really wanted to watch your video. After a few minutes of watching the video move around, left, right, up, down and sideways I was too dizzy to keep watching.
I remember when the primitive area had many more tents and teepees. It could seriously revive. There just needs to be more of an effort to bring younger people into the hobby, but I don't know how that could be accomplished.

I live way down in southern Indiana so I don't think any of the parks I've been to are particularly close to you.

Yes, but we didn't record. We were short on volunteers.

Bringing in younger people is a good. I think a lot of the problem that year was COVID and people staying home.
