I ride those trails several times a week and love rewatching this video. The speed is amazing and inspiring. Just flat out sprinting around areas where most everyone is huffing like tired dogs.
Ha! About a year ago I commented on one of your vids that you guys should do an edit at Granite Bay. You replied that you only ride places with elevation, but I KNEW it would be awesome to see what you guys could do there. Stoked that you reconsidered! Ive done over 80 rides in GB and I've ridden every single trail there, but at your speed, I had some trouble recognizing a few of them lol. Great cut, guys! Thanks for showing us Granite Bay regulars how fast those trails can be bombed!
Seriously man, I mainly ride this area. Recognized it once he came back on the trails leading to the big hill with the bench and memorial. If you look at the strava heat maps, there's people riding way deeper into the area. Some of the rocks put me off from riding deeper in there with my hardtail but that flow area with the berms looks insane, I'm now motivated to find it.
Well its official..... i'm up to date. watched every vid you guys have posted over the last few months.... Cant get enough. Only problem is now i have to wait till you post new ones :(. Im a rider from Aus which has found the love for pushy's again after a long break. Hopefuly will get stateside later in the year to try out some of the trails.... hopefully utah
I've ridden Granite Bay a bunch of times and I hardly recognize any of the trails you're on. The only part that I recognized was the downhill to Beeks.
I need to get out there and explore. I don’t go to GB because most of what I’ve ridden was boring compared to what Auburn has to offer. However between this vid and another by MTBing Adventures I realize I’m missing out.
Auburn is much better. Even if you try these features they were riding at GB. I guess the charm to GB is it's much closer for most and it's an easier going ride.
Absolutely rippin those trails as always! I wanted to look up that awesome intro music to this video but it seems you didn't credit it anywhere...I highly suggest you to do that either in the description and or on screen. Would be a shame if you guys got in trouble for something like that!
Damn making GB look legit haha. How much deeper in is this than the dirt jump area? Those trails following around the lake or going deeper back into the woods? I've done so much of that area but need to find that flow section with the berms.
My My09 my man! I've got all the trail apps, I'll check it out back there for that name. Been like a month since I've even biked due to a foot injury, might have to finally get my ass out there this afternoon.
My legs were tired just watching you guys standing and mashing for extended periods of time to keep up your speed! You guys were absolutely RIPPING those corners. What did you film this with? I noticed a high pitched whirring sound that isn't normally in your videos, and it looked like the camera was struggling with low light more than usual as well. My FY tech gimbal has that whirring, but it's very faint and hardly noticeable. Wondering if that was the result of a gimbal, or if you were using the Rylo on this one??
Our Evo Gimbals are hurting. We've sent them back for repair but they never seem to actually fix them. It's a shame they wont just give us a few new ones...
I saw where someone else here local bought one in early January, and they have had to send it in TWICE already due to a whirring sound. I think EVO has agreed to replace it under warranty at last check. I'm so sick of gimbals. I'm one of the lucky ones who has had two FY tech WGs models with the session camera that have held up amazingly well. I had to take one apart twice and plug a connection back in after it went haywire, but other than that they have worked very well. I'm wondering if the lower weight and smaller size (lower moment of inertia) actually makes the gimbal work less hard, so it has lasted longer?? Depite my good luck...I just hate having a hunk of metal on my chest when I ride. I just went searching for anyone who has tried setups without a gimbal, and a few held promise...but just not on par with the gimbal setup yet. SOMEONE needs to come out with a stabilizing action cam for a chest mount with decent audio, good low light filming, works with standard software, and doesn't cost a million dollars. It doesn't seem that hard with all of the amazing technology we have!! Ughh....
We've used the FY Tech's in the past, they worked OK for a few months. With the amount of abuse we put them through they just wear out after a while. We've had our EVO's warrantied, but they return with less than ideal operation.
Bummer...I had hoped that EVO being in the US would be an advantage. Sounds like it's not that much of one. A "throw away" gimbal even at $215.00 like my FY tech WGs (I think the ones for standard GoPro cameras are a little less....$175.00 or so), seems ridiculous. It sounds like EVO isn't much different.
Nice video... Some of the best "secret" areas we have... but I am concerned that this will be used as ammo and justification to close these very trails. Be careful what you post - you might consider making this video private.
The state park is very aware of the social trails that are out there. They have published maps of the social trails. Gnarnia has been there for years. I hear what you’re saying but I wouldn’t be too worried about it.
That rock transfer at the beginning was bonkers.

Those trails look sick! That speed though
Definitely figured there would be something better than the xc courses I use to race out there. Looks rad guys 🤘🏽
Yeah there’s a few nugs tucked away, it’s pretty cool since it’s local. It’d be a really sick place with just a bit more elevation.

It's quite the maze out there! We only ride there a few times a year and there's always new stuff popping up to keep it interesting.
My home trails. So much cooler from your point of view. Great video.
Thanks Kevin!
wow u guys ripped gnarnia and blue pipe!!! love it!!!
Man those rock features look fun, awesome video!
That looks so much fun there!

My dream is to be able to shred like you guys! Insane skills
Intro music sounds like I'm on Nate Hills channel.Love your vids n shredding style.Keep up the good work.
It does sound like Nate Hills, which sounds like Casey Neistat
Too bad Casey doesn't shred!
Trail Peek Right? Just urban motor boards. His vids are sick though. Hope you didn’t take my comment the wrong way, didn’t mean it negatively! 🤘🏼
So many rocks so little time
Kazak Thranduil Wish there were more lines that incorporated the slabs
was there yesterday and it was my second time on a mountain bike. loving the bike and did a couple smaller rock drops but not the bigger ones yet
Ride there all time, but man, never seen it ridden like that! Hella cool

TP, sick trail man, super tight in some spots and good flow, your crazy not wearing gloves lol..thanks for sharing the fun man =)
Yeah such a fun zone!
looking forward to this. great vid.
Ridiculously fast! You guys will do very well if you do the TBF racing at Folsom Lake.
Sick flow with sprinkles of tech to keep you honest. Love it. Only mild elevation gain? No matter, TP will rip.
Putting on a clinic for railing berms at the beginning, nice!
Where are those jumps 2:00 love your videos man watching you guys smash down those hills makes me want to get in shape
Sweet rippin! =D
I been riding over a year over there never know it has all this trail, if you can send me your strava route love to follow, great ride always so fast.
Do some more explorin in the beeks bight area, I didn’t Strava this ride
Thanks for the info.

Yeah totally!

Are you guys going to be racing TDS again this year?
Justin Brown You bet!
I ride the cross country there every week with cycling dev but I have yet to find the fun trails😂 you should host a subscriber ride!
Cycling dev = no fun trails LOL
Working hard to keep up. The soundtrack of heavy breathing.
Haha gotta pedal out here to go fast
had to watch it twice
What was the high pitched noise that was coming through? Sounded like Ms. Congeniality with her wine glasses. ha
lol, its the Evo gimbal. Fresh back from "warranty repair" lol!
DAM can i go with you guys next time ?
Greasy!
Greee eeee eeasy!
Trail Peek lol! nice save at 1:10
Not a gravel bike in sight 🤷🏻♂️✅
Fat bikes spotted though 😂
So FAST X)

i cant even get 1 MINUTE into the video until my sucky Wi-Fi stops it! i can only watch it in 144p. :(
yo you guys are sick, but, bring back the old logo..
Thanks, but what makes you say that?
Trail Peek feels like a bank logo.. or maybe I'm just so used to the old one..
