I purchased this kit as well, and the air frame that arrived had a wing span of approx 610mm, instead of 680mm that was indicated in some of the listing images, may I know what was the ws of the plane that you got? My final AUW came in at ~800g, may I know how heavy was your build?
@BuildYourOwnRC thanks for sharing what you've got. my final AUW is 870g with 4s2600. it does seem quite heavy for a EDF jet of this wingspan, I hope it doesn't fly too badly
@@FoolSendRC I honestly feel the AMX I bought after is lighter and easier to fly on 3S! (645gram with 3S 2200) Hell, my scratch build F-20 flies better than both of them.
@@BuildYourOwnRCI watched your AMX build video, it does look a bit more involved to put together compared to the f35 I've installed a 70mm thrust vectoring nozzle (modified for yaw moment only). will throw it in the air one of these days n see how she flies lol
I just saw these for sell on banggood and wanted to pick one up. Now I am. Gonna through in the Speedybee FC with inav. Do you think this can be thrown into the air?
You can but it is tricky. I set mine up on 3S. Plenty to fly the plane but not enough to get it airborne on our grass strip at our flying field. I'm sure tarmac would be fine. Having said that I have extended the nose wheel because I did have a nose down attitude. I ended up side launching it level, the belly is to wide to launch over shoulder! Good luck! Let us see how it goes!
Found this kit on Aliexpress and want to modify it for hovering and horizontal flight. Now I know exactly what to expect right out of the box.
@@senorowlando Awesome! That'd be great to see! What power system are you looking to use?
Awsome build video and amazing rezults ....the plane looks amaizing 👍👏
Cheers, I've wanted one of these kits for a while just to see what they are like. I am considering building my own version with the same motor!

Awesome video. Where is CG at on this?
@@chrislayne3653 I used the same COG as the freewing F-35, seems to work great! Take a line across the wing roots and back 4mm.

Can you please let me know where your center of gravity (CG) is on this jet?
