Mine did the exact same thing, RaceMe Ultra on a 30hp tune. Stock clutch didn't last but 10k miles and i baby the crap out of mine (3500 DRW). The SB clutch (SDD3250-GK) made a world of difference, no slippage at about 1600ftp of torque on a 200hp tune. Only issue is it's real grabby starting in 2nd and in reverse.
@@MKSPerformanceOffroad I don’t really pay attention to the miles but it seems like every three months. I pull a lot of stuff with it and snow removal with it. I’m in Kentucky, so we don’t get a lot of snow.
Ive seen alot of different opinions on fluid type depending on who you talk to. G56 is a Mercedes trans and they recommend a heavier weight gear oil, Ram recommends ATF and when you look at the aftermarket companies like South Bend it is recommended to run 50 weight + 1 extra quart. What did the heavier weight oil not help with to be clear? At colder temps with heavier oil, getting it into gear will be different than ATF.
Man you can’t go wrong with the manual. Guys want the manual still dime a dozen they are rare now. Autos are nice the new ones but you just can’t beat the manual.
Thefunkster the only adjustment in the southbend clutch is at the back of the pedal to shorten or lengthen the rod. If stock then there is no adjustement because it is a self adjusting master. What fluid are you running?
Its the 3250-GK, half ceramic half organic. Its very grabby but a great clutch. You can get a little jerking when backing a fully loaded trailer. Overall, pull a fifth wheel camper and it was great.
Purchased truck used 50 miles having a bad noise moving forwards in second from stop kinda sounds like when you turn a dry trailer ball noise! Creaking cracking . . What you call upfitter kit i already have!!! Is this an upgrade!
@@simonmatthew4553 yes the upfitter kit is an upgrade for some but cannot be installed with some other packages. What rpm are you at when moving in second? Do you know what fluid is in it and what the level is?

you one of these guys with only a tune thinking your making 1600?
I have the same problem no matter what clutch I run I’m on my second duel disk
How many miles in between? Just replaced a junk throwout bearing supplied with the sbc kit

i put 75/90W in mine and it didn't help a bit. Going back to ATF+4

How do you adjust a hydraulic system? Mine is really hard to get into reverse

Would be good information if I could hear what your saying the stupid background music is too loud
Is that the organic duel disk. If so how is it backing up a heavy loaded trailer.? Thanks

Did you replace the pilot bearing!

New pilot bearing comes with the kit installed in the new flywheel.

Rpm are low i just let the clutch out and it will go on level ground. Running 75/90
what is the price of the clutch and where did you buy it
Roughly $1150, about a year ago.
Bought it off amazon but you can get it from alot of other companies as well.
