Quick note: any item you're not going to wear should be sold asap. You have a very limited number of gear spots and when they're full of you open a chest with gear you will lose that gear as there's nowhere for it to go. You keep the "style" of all gear you find so you can still change the appearance of gear to look like gear you've sold if you want to even if you've sold the gear with the appearance you want.
If you want the stats of certain gear like the glasses but don't want the look of them you can simply change appearance, just hover over your glasses before going into the menu to change them and you will see the change appearance option 👍
Gentle advice: If you turn off that you target enemies with the camera it makes combat much easier, cooler (you can target outside the screen enemies) and more fluent.
It's quite amusing seeing you walking around looking so ridiculous, when you can actually wear any gear and change the appearance to look like anything else 🤣🤣

Indeed. As people pointed out, just change the appearance to a proper Hufflepuff. No need to look like a dork while retaining the stats. =)
