Don’t you need to take 14 exams independently if you don’t take accounting as uni?

Not if you are employed by an authorised training employer who can support you through

@@jagsjourneyblog so does that mean the number of exams are reduced if I am employed by an authorised training employer? How many exams will it be reduced to?

@@howareyouhi7748 no it will still be the 15 exams, where you study independently or with an ATE there is no impact made on that. I believe are referring to exemptions/credit for prior learning where if you have perhaps covered the modules at uni you may be able to reduce the number of exams as you can obtain an exemption. More details can be found here: www.icaew.com/for-current-aca-students/credit-for-prior-learning

But yes, I'm in my final 5 months of my training contract and have hated every single second of working in audit. Cannot wait to get these last few exams done and move on with my life.
