Jeanty is legitimately a cheat code. This isn't an exaggeration, every single game so far he's had a couple runs where he breaks multiple tackles and then houses it from 50+. It's insane.
Being a Boise State fan, I love the positive talk - I remember when that wasn't always the case with some in the media. And y'all are correct in talking about some of the defenses we're going to be facing going forward. But what you're not taking into account is how our OC feels about having an RB - any RB - take too many hits. Example: Against Portland State in a game that would've been easy to pad his stats, Jeanty only had 11 carries, and all in the 1st half. He didn't play a down in the 2nd half (he still got 127 yds). It remains to be seen, but I wouldn't be surprised if that happens again. Also, I don't care how bad the D might be, if the opponent stacks the box it's hard to run. But no doubt, put on the tape and watch him. He is the best RB.
Anyone who doesn’t think Jeanty is top in the country hasn’t watched him play. Most exciting player since Reggie Bush! Just watch the highlights, it’s unreal! Defenses are literally stacking the box and he still breaks 6 tackles to carry the last guy into the end zone. He’s quickly becoming the GOAT, wouldn’t be surprised if he breaks Barry’s records!
To say he is a longshot to win just shows me the lack of credibility with Heisman. I really hope the voters take care of business. What we are witnessing with Jeanty will not be seen again in college football for a minimum of 30 years. Don't use the "competition argument" Boise State is 29th in SOS. That Schedule gets stronger if UNLV keeps winning. He did it against Oregon and he did it against a 4-0 Washington state and the national runner up University of Washington last year.
@realcandidtrader the heisman winners of past get votes as well. Hopefully with a Rick Williams esk season. Break berry sanders record? We know RH3 thinks he is legit.
I remember in the off season there was some talk of Ashton Jeanty transferring to Kentucky, Considering Bush Hamden was his OC last year, ultimately didn't happen, but my gawd if he did man. Ive been saying he is the best running back in the country since last year. Dude is the best running back since Nick Chubb
He absolutely can. Troy Davis finished second in the Heisman voting in 1996 on a losing Iowa State team. He rushed for consecutive 2,100 yard seasons. If this kid hits 3,000, he is winning the Heisman.
Kellen Moore.....greatest college player of all time, didn't get Heisman. It's a popularity contest, and either way....Jeanty is the best running back arguably of all time right now. (better stats than Barry Sanders, the previous best through the first 4 games.). However, if he can continue this pace through all games, he will prove he's the best through not only 4 games, but of the single season and then sealed in the recored books. Especially if he proves it in playoffs like he's done already against top 5 Oregon team. We shall see.
Remember Barry's record back then he only had 7.7 yards per carry per one source and just under 7 per another. They gave him more carries. Jeanty won't get that many carries. Jeanty will be at 15 tuddys and 1,000 yards after the 5th game.
If he can lead Boise to winning their conference and making the playoffs he definitely deserves to be there at the least. I think he’ll end up with 2400 yards rushing or so. Also what is he talking about saying Gabriel break the passing record
He's a beast and he's amazing, but I don't think he'll get to 3,000. He's already had two games this season where he only played one half. The coach isn't afraid to sit him once they get a good lead.
When it comes to BSU RBs. He is like Jay Ajayi, Alexander Mattison and Jeremy McNickols. All in one. Run a defender over like the Jaytrain. Vision and balance like Mattison and the recving skills and break away spead of McNickols. He will go down as the best Back in BSU history. And most likely not return for his senior year.
@vladdkristmanov3057 I would agree. For the most part. That would have depend on his combine. I'm sure there would be teams that would hope he slides down to the 3rd or 4th.
You want to know what's wrong with college football? This: If Ashton Jeanty had transferred to, say Mich or ND or Oregon or some other blue blood program there would be no question he would be the best rb in the country. Because he stayed at Boise St he is somehow less talented. Its disgusting.

Exactly, people dont understand that only counting his yards after contact, he still the top runningback in the nation
When I watch him run 🏈 , the feelings of awe and amazement flood me. He is so fun to watch, and is such a good guy. I’m cheering him on. 😃🎊 🎉

He reminds me of Darren Sproles, only better. Easily the best RB in college football.
Best running back I've ever seen.
One of the best ive ever seen for boise state . Bsu had a guy by the name of doug martin as well but jeanty is killing it
@@danaranstrom3396 You are right. Doug Martin was a running machine.
Jeanty is the best, if he keeps it up he deserves it! Dude is an RB God.

If he rushes for 3000 yds it’s not even a question
Very refreshing that the national media is not discounting Jeanty's talents as they have toward Boise State in the past.

If he gets 39 tds and 2700 yards idk how he doesn’t win Heisman… he’s keeping pace to break both records.

Most likely wont return? He would have been 1st or 2nd round last year! The NFL, unlike CFB media, knows talent.

Over 230 yards per game from where on out will get him to Barry sanders record.
Looks lik a young Willis mcgahee at Miami

You have to look at total carries. Games really doesn't matter to me. Its actually carries and yard per carry.
And colorado has to be bad.
Colorado loses 4 of last 7 games.
