I just want the Digsite Halo 2 E3 demo for MCC. Infinite is ok but having played since the beta, the map quality dropped. Forge maps dont really cut it for me. The lighting is unnatural. Maybe I am nit picking. I still prefer MCC even after all the work done to Infinite.
I don’t get why would they choose to bring that weapon into the game? What’s the context? Out of all the weapons why bring another version of the assault rifle? It has the exact same reloading animation with the difference it is shorter range? Why? It certainly does not bring variety to the game.
I'm glad Infinite is getting updated! The Halloween content was fun, and the theme here is Halo2 20th anniversary. This new gun is an SMG and balanced to feel like Dual SMGs from Halo 2. (The visual design is a classic weapon from the books.) --- I agree new weapons should add unique variety to the game, hopefully we get that in future updates. If Infinite can keep building momentum than the team can grow to make even better updates!
The Mutilator (double barrel shotgun that's been in files for ages) and Fuel Rod Gun also got updated files when the MA5K got added. My hope is that the 5K is to just fill an SMG role while other weapons are worked on. But who knows anymore.

Just a fyi, learning to crouch hop instead of using sprint will help you adapt more easier to the feel of it. imo i use Recon type of settings on 10 sens 10 accel
Great job on 343 for managing to add in a new weapon into the game nearly 3 years after releasing it and almost a whole 2 years after they added the last one, now we have 2 post-launch weapons! It's not like H5 managed to add one or two almost monthly on its first year along with vehicles and original variants for them and actually used that to bring back beloved weapons and gave us the biggest sandbox ever in a Halo game... Right? I will never understand people who say Infinite is a good game at all... I have no enthusiasm for Halo anymore thanks to it. Everytime I play it I just wish I could go back to Halo 5, for all its flaws and terrible story it had the greatest Custom Games the series has ever had, even topping Reach's.

People who say H5 is trash and that Infinite is way better clearly didn't look at how active and strong the Forge and Customs community was there. Even with PC play, crossplay and Forgeable AI, Infinite's Customs community is nearly nonexistent because the game is so damn shallow, only a cashgrab for cosmetics with an overpriced, mediocre Campaign that gets boring and repetitive half way through. 343 actually did a pretty good job with MCC, they should've kept working at it instead.

Am I the only one annoyed that they made the armor coating have parts of the halo 2 armor black? I’m sure it sounds silly especially since I can just choose a different coating, but master chiefs armor in halo 2 never had black (not including the under suit).
Literally a glorified fast firing AR with the same animations as one and everything. It's clearly just slapped together like this entire game, the elite armor is a half ass attempt, though the classic game mode is actually pretty interesting. 3rd person is cool as an option but is also pretty janky. Still cool to have it

Imo, 3rd person shouldn’t be a playlist choice, but rather, outside of comp and customs, and in any playlist you can have it in, it should just be a slider we can change in real-time, or in the settings menu, like how it is in Star Wars Battlefront for example. Regardless, still very excited to see how it feels and very glad we’re getting it. Always loved having it for turrets and vehicles so I’m hyped! All the new Halo 2 “Anniversary” cosmetics outside of the Operation Pass mean nothing to me, and are honestly so disappointing. Not the cosmetics themselves, but just that they honor the legacy of great games by selling stuff we used to have by default or be able to earn. Rather than a new core, we get more kits for more money, it’s a shame, and should be changed, but I ignore the shop mostly anyways. Not gonna let all-too-familiar cosmetic monetization get me down tho, getting a new gun is SICK. About time, hyped to try it out tm and hopefully we get more larger-scale updates like this in the future!
3rd person shouldnt be a setting, because then it'd be way too much of an advantage, people would only play third person you get way more spatial awareness and can look around corners
No, 3rd person being a switch is not a great idea. At least not for this particular Halo game. It encourages you to switch to corner peek and makes the switch kind of worthless in the first place
Definitely people still playing infinite multiplayers because of online 'friends' and pretty much it. Nothing on buying new skins to flaunt upon. Infinite is as it is until the new game comes out. 💀

They should have a pve playlist including campaign missions from forge along with all the firefight maps.
