I was waiting for you guys! I realized he was hacking in to god's system and taking him on (the ultimate flex), but I missed that he was "shining" in every metaverse. That makes so much sense now! LOL and I love the explanation of the Korean lyrics you always do. @@itsandyandjas I don't think he GOT the yeti coat, I think he WAS the yeti. He was the manifestation of the yeti in the modern world, so that was his own "skin" so to speak.
I figured NEOhacker was the evolution of yetis but i admit that other scenario did cross my mind... if he IS rocking a yetifurcoat maybe he...won it...gaming the yetis. Did you notice he stepped on his opponent's foot?

Loved your reaction! I really appreciate your explanation of some of the lyrics. Even if I read a translation, there are some nuances that are lost. It makes me appreciate Taeyong as a lyricist even more. I highly recommend the rest of the album. The songs are diverse and amazing. I started crying on the second half of the album. I love that he shows such honesty and vulnerability. He wrote and composed the whole album, and you can tell that he is a true artist! Btw, you should check out the dance practice and Studio Choom for "Shalala"! The choreo is so fun! Also, have you guys seen Taeyong's "Ghost" performance video? Although this song is super fun, the rest of the songs on the album are very different. Each song has a different vibe. The bsides are more personal and vulnerable/emotional.
Wow wow wow! I've watched ALL THE REACTIONS SO FAR and hands down you two win!
I suffered through several where they scowled through it clueless & sat like a lump (How is that even possible???) Then after one glance pronounced that they "didnt get it" and/or "it was not their thing" (total reactor fail!)
By now every reactor should KNOW that with the neos you always hit repeat AUTOMATICALLY cause an NCT (127 in particular) MV wont make sense to us till 3-4 views at which point it all SNAPS into place & becomes our fav song ever...till their next one (hello sticker!)
And of course taeyong is the most NEO of all the NEOS. So who would expect HIS debut MV to be...easy going?

Best Shalala video reaction so far. I love how you paid attention to the lyrics and gave interpretations to each. I understand that this won't grow to some at first listen. But Taeyong knows his audience too well and he's just a versatile artist coz he knows what he's doing. It is not just a typical music that you will see in majority of kpop songs but all the tracks on this album are all masterpieces. Hope you can listen to them soon. Thank you!
