We have stayed in the Vic San Antonio for years and it is absolutely great food staff rooms are great highly recommend this Hotel

We stayed at this hotel in 1980! It was top end then. We were very young. A grumpy man would carry our sunbeds and towels to the beach. We would walk along a dusty road to Puerto del Carmen for the nightlife, which was minimal. The restaurants were all serving Canarian style food. No McDonalds then. But we loved it.
That reminds me of my family holidays to mainland Spain and Mallorca as a kid. We always had to walk along dusty roads to get to the beach or nightlife🤣🤣 But I loved it too. Think that’s why I feel so much love for 🇪🇸

I remember the same in late 80's and early 90's torremolinos promenade was a dusty walk full of lil stones........i was a teenager....old times

Haven’t stayed at this hotel but if the price was right I would. People often moan about old fashioned decor but the hotel itself looks immaculate and people seem to return year on year. Similar to the Bahia Principe Sunlight Costa Adeje, old fashioned decor yes but what comes with that is old fashioned good customer service and fantastic food, which results in multiple returning guests.

Great location kev ,we try stay around there as you rightly said turn one way you have PDC and the other is matagorda just brilliant and hotels are fabulous too cheers

Ooh Kev ViK San Antonio? Stayed there 07 I think dated then, let alone now hmm saltwater pools basic rooms €5 deposit to get a beach towel from reception probably 10 euros now Food average, only gets a 4star rating because of spa conference room etc Should be a 3* not the best

It is, I know it’s been a while but i don’t think it’s changed much in 16 years apart from the price to stay there …
