Headpiece Tutorial | Step by Step and Design Ideas

Tools used:
- Scissors
- Pliers
- Marker pen
- Measuring tape
- Glue gun (The hotter the better)
- Textile glue
- Long pins
- Exacto knife
- Small clamps
- Needle file
Materials used:
- Hard headband: www.amazon.co....
- Elastic band
- Hair comb slides, preferably all metal: www.amazon.co....
- Foam material ca 5-7 mm thick
- BBQ sticks
- Spray paint. We used Liquitex gold: www.liquitex.c...
- Fake flowers
- Feathers (Guinea fowl and pheasant from a neighbour)
- Acrylic crystals in different sizes, shapes and colors
- Beads
- Cotton wool
- Thin leather or felt

Too much hot glue is always better than too little! This is the perfect maker advice. Goes for everything :-)

I was hitting my head against the wall trying to figure out how to keep a headpiece I'll be making in place, then I came across your video! I never thought about the elastic at the back! I need more of these headpiece tutorials :D its been a while since I made some and I could need some more ideas like this. My last two headpieces were horns with flowers that I took to a festival. Great fun! Both making and wearing
I know! There's too few of them, that's why I tried to fill that void a bit ^^ I'm planning to make more as soon as we're done with Masked Singer sweden. As you say- it really is great fun!

Thank you for the tutorial. I don't like to use hot glue, at the moment I am trying to make smaller 1860 style headpieces with flowers and I am using brown paper flower shop scotch and wires. But I may try glue with bigger enormous modern headpieces or fantasy ones. Nice pieces 🥰😍

Omg amazing 😍 These are seriously beautiful. I wish I had this vid when I was in college making a headpiece for a play. I ended up making such a massive metal crown that they needed to make an “invisible” back brace thing to keep it up lol.
