When I got divorced almost 20 years ago, I didn’t pray for a new husband. I prayed for understanding as to why I was going through divorce and then I asked for wisdom and to make fair and wise judgment. This was after reading my Bible and reading that Solomon asked for wisdom and knowledge.

Amen, God knows wisdom and knowledge is a good thing if you want good grades in school and desire to impress your parents. A young person does not fully understand the extent of wisdom and knowledge when they are seeking education. As a pray to God. Their thoughts were not synchronized with God's thoughts. But they possibly could be believing that it was at that age.
