      +Gee Kay The DJ in the early days I was just like you. 9-5 regular job than 6-9pm and get home by 10:00 or 10:30. I barely saw my family during that time but it paid off.

    This is unreal to me, because I'm in Detroit Mi. & what you just stated is something I kinda lived my whole life by. I wish I was in a position to just collaborate with you, mind you when I state this, it's based on the fact that I was hired as a engineer at Ford on life experience. I come from a family of musicians & my DJing is as extension of my heritage, but I chose to pursue drag racing career & loved & thrived at it. But I could never escape my hunger for music & plain & simple "creative control" of what your are listening to, hence the inspiration for my DJ career is a passion in my life. I have been running an automotive repair shop in Detroit for the last 11 yrs. Which I have been a resident dj since 2009 which is the passion of my life.I would love to brainstorm with you & discuss taking your company nationwide. We would have the knowledge & love of howto affect ppl,what they hear & how they hear it. Anyway regardless of if you are interested or not, just know you are not alone & my wishes are for you to prosper exponentially from this day forward.

    Spot on! Very accurate! It's sad that most people think Dj'ing is all about fun. Same principles apply to any form of business, gotta put in the work to get the money. Nice vid

    Very true , most new dj are attracted to the show but they don't realize how much work we do behind or before the show/gig. Great video a day ibehind the dj show, showing what we really do before the gig/show. I noticed that it was mostly meeting, you went all around town I feel you, good video!!!

    Enjoyed the day in the life of a DJ business. Thanks Cleveland. I recently visited, rented a car in LA for a few days and the traffic was horrible. Traveling anywhere it took 45-90 mins. I live in the N.J./NYC area so I’m not foreign to traffic but I was surprisingly hectic.

    Great video, I loved working Lucky Strike. I can’t say I work as hard being a full time Dj, like driving and seeing locations isn’t a problem here in Vegas. In LA I almost didn’t have to do it either. But I do some work during the week and that’s being on the phone and sending emails. The best way to make a living is by closing future deals.

    • @ClevelandTerry
      @ClevelandTerry  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      +Dj LyRiX That is true about future deals, but if a current client doesn’t feel you are giving them enough attention that can backfire on you also. It’s a balance.

    I Have a question does doing a Booking Mix help ? lets say i make a mix of genre's i can really do but do it just to get booked and a little resume in what/how i do.
