My Snowpeak M60 Bottle version in 25 caliber ( also known as the Umarex Zelous ) is my only regulated PCP to date . A regulator only makes one more thing that can fail and effects the overall price . Outside of having a regulator to measure each shot with the same amount of air per shot , I really can't see any big difference . My unregulated PCP's are just as accurate . More of a selling point than anything . Almost like buying a new car that you need this or that or it won't sell . The Snowpeak M60B is an affordable option to the great FX Impact and is said to be more reliable . My first PCP a Airforce Talon (unregulated made in Texas ) is now 23 years old and nothing has ever failed on it .
Im in the waiting line for the FX impact m3 sniper 7.62 overall i think its a great airgun sure the snowpeak m60 is a good air rifle but the fx has many more than the Artemis on paper at least I won't know till i get my fx bo disrespect to Artemis snowpeak sure its a great airgun

Some humour from my 8 year old daughter Savannah.... two goldfish swimming in a tank..... one turns to the other and says "how the hell do you drive this thing"😂 I must say never heard of a vough suppressor...but whaf a great idea. How many times have I sat in a hide desperatly trying to keep a tickly cough down . Really great idea 👍

This is a great gun. That Lothar Walther barrel really sets that gun apart from other off the shelf unregulated bullpups. It's a really well engineered gun. I love it, so accurate, and good consistent shot count from 175 bar down to 50 bar. It loves JSB 18.13gr. Hits like a sledgehammer through the entire shot count.
J Whitaker ... it is good to hear from you ... and yes that barrel is superb ... When you have the opportunity, try some of the heavier JSB's..... which for my gun increased the energy ... decreased the velocity a hair ... and tightened my groups even more... for a well placed head shot... Dr.Russ

I'm in N.Wales UK & I too have both guns, with the exception that they're .22 cal - also the Kral being a Mk2 Puncher Breaker Silent Marine in walnut (moderated & unregulated) - the Mk1 Walther Reign is in fact regulated from factory, both guns are choked as I believe are Reximex & all other Turkish manufactured guns.
I have always been intrigues with the Reign, but now they have introduced the Zelos, now I am torn LL. Have the Notos what a super all around carbine. Great stuff as always Dr. Russ !
Nice collection of Airguns Doc. Those Huben PCPs are amazing hunting platforms. Do you have an LCS or any of the Western Airgun designs ie…Rattler or Sidewinder too? Hammerless is the future boss. So easy to tune and extremely powerful and reliable. Very nice setup. Oh BTW try Buck Rail suppressors. 40$ free shipping made in USA. Steel insert threaded 3D printed. Quieter than my Donny FL Ronin and smaller.

Hey doc, just found your channel searching puncher breaker videos and instantly loved your personality and style! Subbed instantly.👍 I dropped my pro tuned puncher breaker the other day.😭 Looking for help diagnosing my poor grouping issue now. I've tried numerous obvious things, scope, shroud, reinstalled barrel... I don't know where to turn, the pro tuner isn't reachable or selling/dealing any longer. It wasn't a bad drop really, just tipped of a 2 foot porch swing. Only muzzle hit the ground. I hate myself right now.
Phantom it is good to hear from you ... but sorry to hear about your air gun accident, especially after tuning it up. Allow me to suggest that the crown on the muzzle might have picked up an infraction that is causing the group expansion. If you dont have a cone shaped grinding stone (one that fits into a power drill - but don't put it into a drill- reshape the crown by spinning the cone shaped grinding stone by hand.) If you dont have one, hopefully a hardware store does. Harbor Frt does and you can order by mail ... and it is very inexpensive. Secondly, you might have jarred a screw or two loose - take the stock off and recheck all of the screws. Third, your scope is the easiest to damage. Try another scope or use iron sites to try another grouping. If you get a tight group, then your scope was the problem and needs to be replaced. We hope these ideas help. Keep us in your loop. Dr. Russ
The European walther is regulated and has a removable moderator. The utx version is unfortunately unregulated and the moderator is not made to be removed but it can be with some work and the barrel is in fact threaded for a standard 1/2-20 so that useless moderator can be replaced bc that thing is loud for sure. That barrel really does make the gun worth it though bc it is impressively accurate and a lot of fun to shoot. I love mine.
Hi Andrew, the european reign does not have a regulator. Umarex say's regulated action whatever that means. The european models came in a mk1 which had a shrouded LW barrel and dovetail rail. The mk2 did away with the shroud which gives an even shorter overall length and picattiny. Both unf threaded. All reigns including the uxt model are the same, just different barrels and power outputs.

Great video dr Russ, tue umerex reign has a V2, but for some reason you can’t get them here in the states, you can get them from a company called krale, but than been out for a few years now.

Fellow Russ here with a question about that 4x CVlife scope with the fixed sight. Is that one compatable with air guns? Not pcp per say, but springers and gas piston? For instance, i have an old sharidan blue streak model c that i'm looking for a scope for. Before i knew better, i have ruined rifle scopes on air guns. Who knew the recoil on an airgun would screw up a scope that came off a 30-06😮
Russ ... thanks for writing .... the CVLife scopes are good for PCP, break barrels and anything that uses a gas piston.... however, they are untested for use of a Springer. Consider Crosman's and Hatsan scopes in Field Supply. Crosmans go by the name "CP".... and "refurbished" come in like new... and work well for me. Dr. Russ
@@russjones6497 Thanks for the reply! I decided to pick one up for my Hatsan Jet II to replace the ridiculously overkill scope I've got on it. The one on it now works fine, but its way to big. It goes almost all the way to the end of the barrel (without the moderator). This scope fits way better and is plenty powerful. Have a blessed day!

JSB 18.13gr is good for plenty airguns i use,,i have 4 airguns and all are good

Also as far as I'm aware, nobody in the uk atleast is moaning about the trigger spring, so maybe the usa market got awful heavy first stage springs?

My Walther Reign I replaced the moderator and the steel tank with a carbon fiber bottle and added a regulator. 18 grain pellets at 960fps😮
