They should have got Chris Puckett back to commentate as a throwback, no matter the fee he was asking for. That guy defined commentary in Halo competitive matches - his voice is synonymous with Halo MLG clips.

Hard to believe this was a online qualifier. Which 1 did not have a large sum of money on the line for the winner. Only saw 4 teams play and managed to break 60k viewers. Went to 2 best of 5s in the grand final and the team in the losers bracket managed to win both best of 5s in the bracket reset and against c9 of all teams not alot of teams can say they beat c9 in 2 best of 5s back to back. THIS IS ONLY A BETA THERE ARE.STILL NEW MAPS COMING OUT LATER

I wish they had a mini map for spectate mode or for the viewer in these games so that we can see where the other plays are on the map. It would just help me understand what's going on in the game... like how important these fights are relative to the positioning on the map.
I was hoping Infinite would have a map with all the callouts too, at least on the loading screens like MCC.
I saw on twitter and someone brought that up to Tashi! If I remember correctly it was one of the many things they were thinking of tweaking, so sounds like the spectator experience still isn't 100%!

I believe it's desync from spectator mode, it should improve a little once they start doing LAN tourneys
The thing this game needs to explode is more sniping. Gotta find a way to implement that into competitive more than it is right now

I feel like theater or streams don’t show the reticle in the right place sometimes because in many clips they’re hitting shots and aren’t even aiming at the body. Getting 4 or 5 shots that I never would get a kill with if I aimed that same way

Amazing plays, what is the controller sensitivity of these guys? Seems low and smooth?
Is there some type of input lag in these videos? Ive seen several "headshot" kills and reticle not even close....
It’s not the video, the computer registers the hits immediately but the movement animation continues, which makes it look like the shot didn’t hit
The shots look kind of screwy? A bit like theater mode in H5.
Really surprised they didn't get some razer poison skins. (Black and green limited edition skin)

A lot of these looked like standard plays (at least for pros) and not highlights. I love that pro Halo tournaments are happening within weeks of the release.

I believe the players can use any they prefer! But 99% of the top pros are using PC

@@DeviousGruntAlliance my god. i’ve never done such a hard 180 on anything, especially a video game. the first handful of hours i was afraid to even say it out loud but i was definitely thinking they dropped the ball on this one. at first i thought they regressed back towards 2 and 3 like you mentioned, but took it too far? i couldn’t put my finger on what it was. And it looks like i’ll never be able to, because the gameplay is every bit as fun and addictive as the older halos, but plus an unbelievable customization side. i probably get far more excited for weapon skins than any adult should, but it’s fun. so im leaning into it 😂😂
The BR starts in the ranked playlist basically leave me speechless, they somehow found the perfect touch to make shots difficult enough to allow a wide variety of skill levels, but the perfect kills are SOOOO satisfying, and i’m not sure what they did to make it that way or how they even made it feel that way to begin with. but given the beta has turned a life long halo fan around in 72 hours starting with being legit unhappy about it, to possibly also beings my favorite halo. If they can accomplish that with a free to play beta, i fully expect to love the final cut of the game.

i cant watch this. on mnk and the registry here in their games is literally not what the game has to offer at all. this almost feels like xbox is doing this on purpose for those on pc playing off game pass. kinda is turning me away from the game and no one is talking about it. this is probably the most game breaking bug. this and the none rejoin after disconnectiong from a game. like this better be fixed on release. like hit reg and rejoin feature need to be a first priority for them or they will loose half their base quickly
