I am so grateful to AdesoAfrica for implement sustainable land management system in Puntland, I am an engineer and I have a deep understanding of the work you are doing for the rural and postaral community, once I believed there is no resilient Solution for this community and the other African are suffering the same, so I tried to develope a suitable approach for the community, really I did and still I am working with this project, I developed almost 10 water structures the community can do withing themselves. it is hard to believe but I did, nevertheless I need to make trainings, school for these projects, and associations for all the agencies and groups who work for the community like adesoAfrica, I felt withing during my approach project it is difficult to separately do the project but to come together discuss and share the work to do great recover for a less time.. have a zest in life Sisters and Bros of adesoAfrica.
Thank you, Sam. Even though some of the progress was interrupted by an exacerbated drought and rain failures in 2016. However, the structures that Adeso have constructed and the knowledge and tools that Adeso imparted to the communities are still there. When the land receives some rain again the land will be restored and the impact of these structures will benefit hundreds of thousand of pastoral and rural people across Puntland. We have already seen the growth of vegetation after the Gu' 2017 rain in some places.
