I’m real glad to hear my builds have been helping you learn PvP!Honestly for StamBlade I’d still use this exact same build, I’d probably go 2x Daggers over Axes, but if you can only afford 1 set I’d just stick with 2x Axes The biggest tip of learning PvP is mainly focus on survivability to have time to learn the mechanics and limitations of PvP and other classes/builds

I copied the build but my base penetration is like 5k lower. Can anyone tell me the permanent sources of penetration on this build other than the shattered fate set?
Are you running 1 Sharpened with 2 Light with the passives in, as well as have the Blue CP passive that gives 700 Pen, also NightBlades have a passive that grants them almost 3k pen when hitting an enemy from the flank that randomly appears on the stat sheets even though it’s not suppose to that’s probably why

I am using your build right now to try and learn pvp but I think I am just really bad because I get shredded in 2 seconds every time I fight. I will keep trying but it's hard to learn when I don't even have a chance to do anything other than heal until i get stunned and deleted.
I tried that too, but Shattered Fate was so easy set and forget, Ele Sus into Incap Bow and instantly delete any NightBlade ganker, try it I promise you you’ll love it!
So think of it more of a buff skill that just happens to do damage Power Extract is mainly a buff skill used to get our 20% w/s damage, when casted and it hits a target we get buffed up and also debuff the enemy, so only cast it every like 20 seconds, you can cast it to pull a NightBlade out of stealth or maybe catch someone mid roll dodge, but it is never used strictly as a damage skill
Anyone have a recommendation of where to find some group player builds? All the builds I find are 1vX builds. Most of which are Rallying Cry based, which I'm almost guaranteed to have someone else running.
I'm a 3rd shifter so I play mostly in the mornings after work on PSNA. This is my chill out and relax time so I prefer to play in groups where I can talk to others and BS a bit. I'm a solid player but nothing special. Normal group sizes range from 5-8 people and casual. Not organized ball groups usually just some random guild members. In groups there is almost always dedicated healers who consistently run things like Rallying Cry and SPC. If not a healer it's so common someone in any group almost always has it on. Which when you look at 1vX builds eliminates a lot of the setups. Rallying Cry doesn't stack and while it's still great, it's more of a support set while running in groups. Healers run it a lot and aren't always carrying alternative sets. Especially if you're jumping into a random Battlegrounds match. SPC covers the major courage from Sea-Serpents Coil which is an easy swap to say Markyn Ring of Majesty, you get my point. Setups like Mechanical Accuity for example. It's great for burst in 1vX builds where you're able to kite around for a bit and then turn and hit hard. But for group play where you're working with others to move and take keeps for example that sets not very effective. You might end up walking onto the first flag in a keep and having a 20 second cool down before that set gives you anything. I just don't understand why every content creator for ESO only puts out 1vX builds for PvP. The majority of players aren't good enough to 1vX. And let's be honest and if you're pulling off a 1vX you're a good player who ran into some bad players. I pulled off a 1v5 during Midyear Mayhem and I'm an average PvP player. They were just quite obviously PvE guys jumping into PvP for Midyear Mayhem. You're not 1vX'ing good players. Long post and a bit of rant, sorry. @@Hexapug
I’ve done a High Crit build it’s a great alternative but I feel that high pen is the way to go rn As for Tether it’s really good but the increase cost can be annoying and also Incap just does so much single target damage As for Mag skills no don’t use any mag spammables for damage you’ll mag out quick
I have made a slightly altered one bar build with this. Shattered with spriggan and oakensoul. Ran with lover stone. Running around with a permanent 21k penetration. 5700 weapon damage and just over 6k if you have continuous attack. if you sacrifice a gap closer for the relentless you can easily hit 6500 weapon damage. If your with a group and someone else has major breach your cutting through people left and right.
I run resolving vigor for my heal. Surprise attack for my spam. I swap out steel tornado and relentless focus depending on if I’m ganking or grouping. Ambush for gap closer, shadowy disguise for my guaranteed crit. Incap or soul tether as ultimate. I’m a vampire. I swapped out his axes for maces for increased pen. I also tested out oakensoul with shattered and new moon. A bit less sustain but hits like a truck.
Sorry for the late response, you need all your Class, Armor, and Weapon passives, except for Tri Focus DO NOT put any points into Tri Focus for it will make your Block cost Mag and we don’t want that But honestly just have fun and get all passives and play around with different weapons and play styles, because you can always respec and get your skill points back
QUESTION. I keep seeing everyone using camo hunter and shadow disguise. Aren't they the Same passive buffs. Making one of them pointless almost? Minus the berzerk
Yes and no, Camo Hunter does have the added benefit of casting the skill and pulling nearby enemies out of invis, so if it’s used for that it’s somewhat justifiable the damage increase is mediocre at best, most players just don’t like changing with new times
Running both sets together would make you delete players into Oblivion lol, however your sustain would suffer heavily so if you run in a group or big group you’d be fine, but as for me I wouldn’t because I like to play solo or very small group and fight outnumbered so I need survivability
Oh man I tried it in BGs and it didnt work out at all. I need to cast so much stuff before I start fighting, Im already dead when I finally want to do damage. Elemental susc, then mirage, (maby vigor), then power extraction, terror... and now I can start doing damage. Except at this point Im already dead. Also, all that while already in combat, its not things you can have precast. Also, no gap closer. I compare this to other builds where I can be already buffed, and when I see an enemy I use gapclose skill and just start doing damage.... and it seems more effective
@JoshuaTremblay-ou7vm You definitely could swap it out, but you would feel it more on your sustain as you’ll have less over resources to play with, you’d defiantly be Tankier though

I HIGHLY recommend keeping Wretched, because the people that run Rallying Cry (RC for short) over Wretched are the same people that run out of resources in 5 seconds and die instantly when caught out alone, Wretched lets you roll dodge, cloak and heal spam
Are you a Stage 3 Vamp with undeath? Also that’s just the play style of NightBlade, they aren’t meant to be in your face bruisers they’re meant to be played more elusive and bursty, weave cloak and know when to strike with your Incap Bow combo
All my builds are specialized for PvP, as PvE Land is an entirely different beast and should be built differently However this build is great if you can’t be bothered to make a separate build for PvE and just want to do overland and normal dungeons

The rotation is very simple, buff up as always and keep Ele Sus on the target, and the main burst combo is to make sure you have 5 Merciless Bow stacks to proc the Bow, and wait for your Incap to turn into the one that stuns, get them to about 80% health once then Incap into a Merciless Bow proc Execute spam, will certainly put most players down if the Bow crits
@danlanglais1821 Any form of Light and Heavy attacks, 2 Wield or Staff hits both work, it’s something you should just naturally be building as using attacks, because weaving in Light attacks is a big mechanic of this game
I feel like pen is worse than anything else you could build into, as while things like crit and weapon damage have an effect 100% of the time, pen only applies until the target runs out of armor, meaning you can waste a lot of pen on light and medium armor users. But it's hard to argue with something that works.

This build is perfectly fine it got a small buff with Incap, only the MagBlade caught a nerf

Balorghs is king for burst damage but i would maybe try maarseloks if you lack sustain try roksa the warped.

My builds are mainly specialized for CP Open World Cyrodiil, in Non CP proc sets dominate the meta

This build is still very viable, it’s just the newer build with Tarnished is such easier damage and super cheesy

Yeah that’s just the oppression of Cheese Meta Arena weapon builds, but you are fast and mobile so you are able to avoid their set up
