Aside from that, influx, flying dragon, and daybreak has projectile cooldown that significantly loses damage potential even when you do them their proper build. Another reason why terrablade seems to have lower dps than the swords mentioned is because you probably do it full attack speed. You don't really need to make it full attack speed but instead you should stay at 104% attack speed and you must maximize your crit chance and damage after that. 104% atspd terrablade gives you 8 use time, so does the 130% atspeed terrablade. You can only do full atspeed endgame. Seome melee weapons are damaging but it takes a lot of accuracy to use. Unfortunately, that doesnt apply to influx waver and flying dragon. Their single target dps are even slow, and their slow projectiles are just not enough to fend enemies in faster manner like the Terrablade could (unless you'll also do atspeed build which affects the way how fast the projectile travels, but in exchange of losing significant dps). I might want to say this again, if you want to have far damaging weapons than influx and flying dragon, then you can try starlight, solar eruption, and north pole; these weapons are risky to use though.

One thing you can notice in that vid is terrablade deals about ~4k dps with only projectile, like I said, and waver deals about 5.5~6k with only projectile when against an not that fast enemy, like duke or moonlord Personally I did some speedkill, so I HAVE to know which weapon is best against which enemy Some of my vids is using swords (like 30s ml, 18s melee duke, starlight one), the DPS meter is always on , maybe you can also have a check :)

I already did dps testing on Duke Fishron and Moonlord with the compared weapons' suitable builds. Terrablade turned out to REALLY be the better sword than Influx and Flying Dragon. Terrablade is always consistent to hit and not to mention the piercing capabilities and the projectile that comes out per swing of it that even made it more damaging more than Influx Waver and Flying Dragon. The 2 swords have projectile delays that most people prioritize damage and crit strikes (Menacing and Lucky) just to make them damaging, but Terrablade with the 104% melee speed build still manages to succeed them even when having the attack speed build built for the 2 swords.
