Arnold FS ETR 610 and SBB RABe 503

Arnold 1:160 N Gauge.
HN2472S SBB RABe 503 and HN 2474 FS Trenitalia ETR 610 Pendolinos running on my Sustenbahn layout.
These are the base sets and the 3 extra cars required to complete the full length trains should be available later in the year.

Great layout. I've recently taken delivery of the Arnold SBB RABe503. I understand the remaining carriages will be released in the Summer (on order). Nice runner, although the bar coupler doesn't seem very robust and tends to part company with the carriages. Have used it in push mode with motor at rear.

Hi. Thanks for the kind comment. Up to now I haven't had any problems with the bar couplers but the big test will come when the extra coaches are added. I spoke to a Hornby representative last week and according to his delivery schedule the add-on coaches probably won't be available until early next year.

Der ETR610 ist wirklich klasse. Der RABe503 ist - mit dem übertrieben lauten Saund - echt stressig, weshalb ich auf dies Lärmbelästigung gerne verzichte... ;-)

What a beautiful set, I cannot wait to see the complete set. I hope the motor and coupler system are much improved than the Renfe Velaro set.

I have this and the motor is fine. The bar coupler doesn't seem very secure though.
