    I’m reading Morgan’s latest book “the psychology of money” and it is a gem! Possibly the best finance book I read in the past 5 years.

    Ironically where he speaks and for are the people who make it all glamorous, complex and short term oriented.

    dude this guy is really awesome. i 'm from future and now we are having covid crisis. but when in 2019 i watched this video, and then the pandemic came one year later. i just make money 25% gain of my portfolio. so be calm first, scan your situation, and than carefully execute

    Simple and evident things are the hardest to implement, aren't they?
    This talk is intellectually simulating yet powerfully rudimentary!

    There are more old ladies buying and holding stocks for their entire life and passed away in debts, the 100 old lady is the exception, the speaker made one of the bias in investing: survival bias.

    • @jacobm7026
      @jacobm7026 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This is absolutely wrong. If those old ladies were buying and holding stocks their entire lives, they would not have passed away in debts. That's literally the point of compounding interest. Unless they had millions of debt and that's an entirely different scenario

    I really like how Morgan mentions about CNBC, that media's really something funny. Maybe he mentions it to make us notice that don't eat what the media/news says, but to think rationally, use your brain not your emotion. Following the crowd is not always good.

    very good speech. I've heard him on some podcasts before and I found him to be a little obnoxious, I'm ashamed to say. He speaks too fast in conversation but very good speaker, just right.
    i really enjoyed the video

    Morgan's investment strategy is simple, buy stocks and hold them for the next 80 years.
