    Wow how disappointing that it took so longer! I’m glad that the repair is good so it was worth the wait if you will. I’m just glad that their bags don’t often require repairs. It’s definitely a beauty! Tfs 💕

      Yea it definitely was disappointing. Especially when told that my bag was on its way to me, but in reality it wasn't 😔. I am glad that it did come back in gold condition and the issue was fixed. TFW 🤗

    This is a great informational video thanks for sharing your experience with DB on repairing your beautiful satchel. You are right customer service is everything and quality control.     I can't believe that it took soooo long for them to fix it and get it back to you! I wonder what would have happened if you didn't have someone to directly escalate it to. They did an excellent job on the repair and I'm glad that your bag made it back safely! Thanks for sharing! ❤️👜❤️☝🏽❤️

      I can't believe it either and can't believe they told me that it was boxed up and ready to go when in reality it had to go back to repair. I didn't like the experience at all because of the lack of communication. I am glad that it came back perfect though ☺️. TFW 🤗

    Wow, I'm sorry you had that experience! I'm so glad you got your bag back and that they did a good job on the repair. Such a beautiful bag. I had one repair experience, and I was pleasantly surprised. It took from 7/30 to 9/7 from when I contacted them and sent the bag and to get it back. But I do feel that customer service needs to be better. Like you said, communication is key. I feel like they just give you canned responses and don't really know what's going on. And don't even get me started on pre-orders 😂 This was a great video. Thank you for sharing ❤

      I was a little leary about sharing my experience, but I'm glad that I did because they really need to improve customer service and communication. Haha, yeah, they were definitely kindly blowing me off🤣🤦🏾‍♀️. Oh wowwww that's so crazy about your repair experience too. Sooo did they ever say what took so long?? Listen, the pre-order is a big no-go for me🤣🤣. I've yet to have a positive experience. It's very unfortunate. TFW 🤗

    Wow!!! Patience is something you possess. My limited experience with their customer experience has been fair. My biggest issue are pre-orders, or orders that go out of stock and they do not notify me. I just started purchasing Dooney & Bourke in 2021, but overall that is my biggest complaint. My biggest complaint came from ordering a bag 3xs due to a marking on it however it was through QVC. This video was very informative. I’m so glad you were able to get your bag fixed. She’s beautiful!! TFS💚✨

      Listennnn time was almost up for them! I was ready to put in a lost item claim because why oh why was my bag just sitting in a box. I just don't understand, but I am glad that i have her back. I am not a fan of their pre orders at all. They really need to just work on communicating better with their consumers. TFW 🤗

    I’m o glad you got the bag back and fixed is a gorgeous bag. I have the nano in that color and love it. Maybe the marketing department who got involved may that will make a difference to get customer service improvmentslet’s hope fingers crossed 🤞 tfs 👛🛍️🚢🦆🙏

    I had my first bad experience with their customer service recently. It was with an e gift card that I was gifted. They told me that I was not able to use it because of an error in their system. After 3 weeks of calling and no resolution, i had to cancel my order and gift card that i couldn't use. And I wasn't the only one this happened to. I'm glad to see that your bag got back to you repaired. Tfs your story😊

      Wait...so it was a gift card for the brand, and you couldn't use it?! That's crazy work right there. I really hope that they were able to compensate you for the gift card. The brand is so good, but they really do need to get with the times. I'm so sorry you had that experience. TFW 🤗

    I’m glad you had the marketing contact and finally got your bag. You’d probably still be waiting. They really do need to figure out a way to improve customer service. The only time I needed to contact customer service is when my tracking said my bag was delivered to a completely different state than where I live and it was supposed to come to me. They said I’d get it the next week and I got it the next day. So I don’t know what happened. 😅 Thanks for sharing! Peace and love..Suz What ☮️💛

      Yes, I am very glad as well because I was getting super nervous. All I could think about was maybe they lost my handbag or it was delivered to the wrong address. Especially considering the fact that it was just sitting in a box waiting to be shipped. Omg they would be such an amazing company all around if they just improve their customer service. I remember that incident about your bag, lol. I'm so glad it arrived to you. TFW 🤗

    odd that you put this out at the same time i have a major issue with a new florentine mail satchel bag from dooney. screws and o ring popped off after only one week of use. i never register bags or really never have any problems with their bags. i immediately registered the bag and contacted dooney for repairs. after all was done to get the bag returned i was told where to send and i immediately asked them to send me a return label because i didn't feel as if i should pay for the bag to go in. they sent me one and i sent it back to them. funny that on the day of this video i received a response that it will be 3 to 4 wks before bag can be returned. ok dooney but this has opened my eyes to this process. they also told me in the email that there may be a color variation with the replacement materials but they will blend in time. everyone please be mindful of all of this because it really is a process and i cant wrap my head around a dooney with issues. these bags have always been top notch and i have never had a problem thanks mo for this video and all of your wonderful content.

    Thank you for sharing this..I was about to ship my repair off to them but wondering if I should just go to a leather/ shoe repair shop instead..hmmm..6- 8 week repair time?? Anndddd having to keep calling to check progress??? Not sure about this at all😮

      They do a great job, but the communication isn't good at all. I just couldn't understand why I was told that my item was ready to shop back on 8/2, but it didn't arrive until over a month later🤦🏾‍♀️.     Thanks for sharing!! I'm glad you finally got your bag back but you shouldn't have had to pull some strings as an affiliate to speed up the process at the end. I've never had to send a bag in for repairs and I hope to never need to. Thanks for sharing ❤
    Also regarding experience with pre-orders, mine hasn't been the best. I pre-ordered a bag that ended up going on sale afterwards. It was a bit of a hassle canceling the order but I got it done.

    That sounded so stressful! It’s too bad that it happened that way. They really need to fix it. Thank you for being so transparent and sharing your experience.
    I did send a bag in for repair once. It was for a lost braided zipper pull on my multicolor DB crossbody. (I know, such a minor thing right). The pull was black saffiano. When it came back it was a black pebbled leather pull. Minor difference, but I thought it was interesting. I don’t think I had any customer service issues, but it did take a few weeks. Have a great day. 🥰

      It was very stressful, but I did try my best to just remain calm. I just couldn't understand why they'd send me an email that my bag would arrive 7-10 days and not update me on any issues after those days had passed. Oh wow, now that is interesting about your zipper pull🤔. I am pleased with the work on my bag and am glad it didn't come back in decent condition. TFW 🤗

    Hey sis I agree with you on there customer service. This is why I am so nervous about sending my Hattie to them. For the most part I didn't have any really bad service with them thus far. Enjoy your bag💚

    Hey sis! Oh Dooney! Get it together! The customer service issues within this company are pervasive & unacceptable! For a company that has been in business as long as they have, they should have it mostly figured out by now! There is so much room for improvement & so many other business models they could learn from...but anyway you know exactly where I'm going... I greatly appreciate your desire to share your experience with us as a regular customer, so we could get an authentic perspective. However, I'm so glad you're an affiliate & could avail yourself to additional resources because who knows when you would've gotten your bag otherwise! TFS!

      Hey, sis! I completely agree! At this stage in the game, they should be so far ahead when it comes to customer service. There's a few things that I'd love to see them change, like their return process on defective items. I do not agree with them charging to ship it back because it should've gone through quality check first. That's another topic for another video. I am glad that I finally have my bag back, though.     Wow. I’m shocked at D&B’s customer service response. It has been a while since I had to deal with CS. They were excellent whenever I did though. Glad you got your gorgeous bag back whole though.

    Listen, I definitely understand the lack of customer service from Dooney. I can not believe, WELL I CAN BELIEVE that you had to go through all of that. That is crazy and to think affiliate or not no one should have to have an inside connection to find out why their bag is not en route. That is crazy and the amount of time to just find out it had to be sent back. So this would be very frustrating because I feel like you have to follow up but at least tell people the truth when they are calling about their items. When you got to preorder talk, Listen we will not go there again. The preorder is not really a preorder. It is not a good process as we have not had success and they do not update you with facts about that when you call and ask either. OK enough of my rant but clearly this is something we have ranted about lol tfs the facts and your experience. It will help those that may have to send in repairs so they can know what may happen

It's cool and all that they offer the service of repairing items, but I definitely won't be utilizing it or their pre-order until they make improvements.     Beautiful Bag. She is absolutely gorgeous. Their customer service is not customer friendly! I hate how they cancel your order without notice! Very irritating! I have never utilized repair service. I can’t imagine their repair service being worse than the communication with Louis Vuitton Repair.
