- After years of planning, 14 pages of writing, a month of recording, and 10 days of editing. The long awaited GoAnimate the Movie review is finally here! But the question remains, is it the worst "movie" ever created?
I would like to thank all of you for supporting me throughout the years, and as a gift, I decided to make this review my biggest video yet! So sit back, relax, and enjoy my hardest video I've ever made to date!

The main reason why The GoAnimate "Movie" sucks is because it supposedly takes place in 2006, yet there's a scene with an Adventure Time toy when that show didn't come out until 2010.

I honestly can’t believe that the Grounded Video subculture got so out of hand that Alvin Hung, the founder of GoAnimate/Vyond regretted creating the website.

Also, as someone in Hong Kong, hearing him say Cantonese in the beginning of this video made me feel so at home

This 'movie 'has such a scatterbrained plot, it genuinely didn't feel real, it felt more like a fever dream I would've had when I was 8 or something.
The fact I used to watch go animate unironically when I was 7 but watch them now ironically as a 14 year old shows that time is a flat fucking circle. Great video.

One of the worst - yes. The worst? No. Better than Cuties certainly.
Cuties is an actual film that does some extremely messed-up stuff, but it's in a different category. I would argue it's the worst international film or worst film in the since it qualifies as a film.
GATM isn't really a film, more so a mashup of Greeny Phantom with stuff the creator added to at least have something like an actual villain (yes, there was no villain in Greeny Phatom).
Greeny Phatom The Movie is unwatchable and easily the worst of all the "fan films" beating GATM by a large margin considering its somewhat watchable despite the embarrassing flaws.
The sad thing is, there is a few of us who actually use GA to make good content and actually put effort into our videos, like my friend with his series, and what I'm trying to do with my own big project, but unfortunately, those of us who actually put effort into our vids get completely ignored for all of the Caillou and Dora shit. It is sad, and if I'm being honest, I am quite embarrassed of my old GA content, especially the ones in the early years. Not just me, my friend's old GA content was so bad that he refuses to even acknowledge their existent today. (and I honestly don't blame him either)
I use to do grounded videos in 2013, I use to think they we're the funniest things in the world, but then I grew up and realized how shit these videos actually are. This community really NEEDS more originality, everything is just grounded this, punishment day that, and stuff. The downfall is why I initially left the community in 2016, but then came back in late 2020 with my big project to prove that good content can still be made on GA if you actually put the time and effort into it. Its just sad that most of the good content gets ignored, but yet cringe like this "movie" gets recognized and phrased by the community. I also used to like this "movie", until once again, I grew up and realized that this "movie" is complete and utter shit.
This movie is like submitting a stick figure into an art museum.

Between African Vulture (and her fanbase and Karen of a sister), all the trolls and flamewars, the children infesting the site, and this, it’s safe to say there’s no doubt this joke of a community is why GoAnimate basically got shut down.

I love how this movie has scenes that were obviously ripped off from Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, especially when you see the Holy Nightmare Company logo. Oh, and their music choices? Gotta love how they put in the Lottery theme from Super Smash Bros. Melee, and a remix of King Dedede's theme in Kirby: Canvas Curse. When I watched this last night, I was literally laughing my ass off because of how incredibly stupid the characters were in this movie. This review was absolutely hilarious.
Good news for you, I'll be making another review but instead of reviewing one goanimate movie. I'll review multiple. Already done writing one segment.

I wasn't sure if anyone mentioned it, but the name of Mr. Keebler's assistant, Rentro, is copied from the 1999 film, "Muppets From Space." The "remote/goat" joke is also copied from that film. How crazy is that?
Not to mention that according to the GoAnipedia Page, it shows how much the budget and the grossing revenue.
Budget: $23.5 Million (Seriously, the movie is 100% Low Budget, this movie doesn't deserve a lot of money.)
Grossing Revenue: $613 Million. (Like I said for the budget, this movie doesn't deserve a lot of money and it's 100% Low Budget.)
I remember reading upon a theme park ride based on the movie on there one time (which would totally never happen).

The extremely huge amount of filler
The lazy reusing of assets
The extremely poor quality
The main character being an unlikely a hole
The poor attempt of a villain
The extremely huge plot holes that go nowhere
& of course, the shameless copyrighted logos, characters & songs

I rarely get headaches through cringe but this is one of them. Although few scenes are ironically funny, it’s not worth going through the painfully long fillers. I bet my pet can think of better villain design

I've been avoiding this movie for 10 years now. Only now am I seeing it through your review of it. It's all just a big ol' nothing burger. The random scenes where it cut into song made me laugh quite a bit though. Great video overall though

GoAnimate The Movie is one of the worst ever. Someone said the movie came out in 2006 with an Adventure Time toy, when Adventure Time didn’t came out until 2010. and the critics also hated this movie for being bland and boring and content full of nothing but stupidity
I watched GoAnimate The Movie back when I was 10, I thought it good back then (idk why), obviously in hindsight it is pretty much shit, (its just danny phantom the movie or whatever its called in ga) while it is still a GoAnimate movie, which means its fucking shit, I honestly got to admit that its better than the 1 hour grounded videos that those kids are making these days.

Hey, it’s Noble Animate (if you remember me correctly), I’m commenting from my 2nd channel (Some Big Goofus)
Anyways I think GoAnimate The Movie might be an absurdist comedy. Some of the scenarios and situations in this movie I guess were meant to be zany and chaotic; Eric stepping into gum and having a hard time getting unstuck, PC Guy watching the Seewoosh logo (or whatever logo that was), the “this guy is so stupid stupid stupid” guy, and there are some other (I guess) surreal comedic scenarios in there but I can’t list them all, it would take a little too long.
Anyways there’s nothing wrong with absurdist humor, and it can work, but GoAnimate The Movie doesn’t do it correctly. Whereas the surreal humor in shows like South Park works because it’s really absurd to the point of being genuinely funny and the chaos that goes on just feels normal, the “absurdist” comedy in GoAnimate The Movie just feels random with no rhyme or reason.
Which is worse:
Go!Animate the Movie or The Rodfellows Movie.
Both the Worst Online "Animated" Movies.
At least The GoAnimate the Movie wasn't made by a literal pedophile. So...I guess that's the only positive? 😂

You could at least argue that Cayby J was younger (probably a kid to probably teen in middle school) and it was back when he didn't know what he was doing, this resulted in this. TRF Movie was made by 3 young adults who should know better and have actually had horrific fetishes both during production and everything afterwards with tons of baggage on them.
At least Cayby J has grown since the making of GoAnimate the Movie and has made content that's a lot better than the movie. FYI, he now regrets making the movie. Unfortunately, the same can't be said about the three LMNB crimelords (Darren, Dan, and Alex) and I do feel sorry for the other people who were involved in The Rodfellows Movie. GlideFan, who is a victim of Darren, was also involved in the making of The Rodfellows Movie, and since he cut ties with Darren, Dan, and Alex following their controversies, he had to deal with harassment from trolls who were defending Darren and comparing Glide to Wade Robson, James Safechuck (both of whom are Michael Jackson's accusers), and Amber Heard (Johnny Depp's ex-wife), even going as far as to say that Glide is related to Robson, Safechuck, and Heard. They also claimed that Glide was working on a documentary film for Max (formerly HBO Max) titled "Leaving LMNB". Due to the harassment Glide received that damaged his mental health, he has now left TH-cam.
One had children work on fetish content, the other is the GoAnimate movie. The answer should be obvious.

Personally, this movie can be so random at parts that it’s basically funny and for the wrong reasons. Plus, there are parts that add absolutely nothing to the plot and don’t have any importance to the film as a whole. The TTS voices in my honest opinion are not bad, especially for the time, but the audio quality in general wasn’t so great. Overall, this film has many faults and a small amount of positives so unfortunately I’ll give it a 4/10
TTS voices are a given in Goanimate at this point. this movie is nonsensical like alot of Goanimate content, which is a shame because it could've been good. i hope someone remakes it one day

The movie I first thought was alright, now since I watched it again, I'm not a fan at all. The plot is literally copying another movie, which isn't nice at all. And it's a very confusing plot.

oh hey! i remember you! you used to comment a bunch on Goanimate videos back in 2015! anyways, i agree this movie isn't great, but i don't think it's NEARLY as bad as you think it is. it doesn't represent everything wrong with the community (but it does have some problems that alot of Goanimate content has), and it's not one of the worst things ever lol. there are far worse things than this on the internet than this. it's also unfair to claim it's worse than Food Fight because it's drag and drop animation, because there have been some well made things using Goanimate. it is really, really, random though. and it also makes no sense as well. things just kinda... happen. it's not a great use of the software overall and could be ALOT better. it makes me glad that there is other better Goanimate content and apparently Issac Anderson made a good Goanimate movie

I also found out that this movie was so recognized that Pepole Made their Own "Movies" With this Exact Plot line, Titling it After Random franchises like MLP, BFDI, ETC.
I once Saw a Few Of these With this Plot line, such as "My little Pony: Frendship is Magic: The Movie" And "BFDI: The Movie"

Binged watched this movie recently and let me tell you, I couldn't get past the first 15 minutes of it without laughing hysterically about how terrible the movie is

Unless if it's made by either Stanley Kubrick, Martin Scorsese, Francis Ford Coppola, Steven Spielberg, Ridley Scott or Christopher Nolan.
He made like a fifth of the video to talk about goanimate as a whole even though this is about its movie 😭

How can someone watch this and call it a masterpiece?!?! When in reality is just a collage of what this toxic GoAnimate/Vyond community is seriously capable of... Tasteless jokes, annoying dialogue, non-sequitur scenes, lazy-ass plot... Who can seriously blame Alvin Hung when he said that his very creation GoAnimate/Vyond was a "mistake"? No one can blame him. Because it was those spoiled brats who ruined such a useful site and angered its creator due to the type of content they make... This movie is beyond proof that GoAnimate community was already toxic to begin with... I admit that I was exactly like them when I was a kid, I even created content in a similar fashion to them too... but now looking back at it, I now have understood that this was not only a mistake, but also a big irreversible bloodstain that possibly traumatized/brainrotted us into thinking that grounding and/or SA-ing your own child for no reason was a good idea, which of course, it wasn't... We have to thank this arrogant community of people who have indeed shown how it feels to be traumatized on web and how it takes forever to heal from its wounds...

I remembered that I had the balls to watch this movie back in 2023, and I just could not get through the first 10 minutes of the movie, so yeah, not only this film aged horribly as the,"One that started it all" before all of the other Goanimate movies, but I had to watch this entire review, just to see how bad this movie is, and thank god I did.
