    Just showing the performance difference between the lower headspeed of 2250 and to the recommended headspeed of 2400+
    Helicopter is all stock out of the box with the 3GX system.

    @carlocivicsi I had to shorten my linkage rod(A)'s to 70mm to get the wash out geometry correct. physically had to shorten rods with dremel tool to get the correct length. I don't know why they specify 80mm. They must have changed something in the head mid production.

    is the geometry of the trex 600efl pro off? i can't get the metal wash out control arm on pg 6 of the manual to be 90 degrees (level) at zero pitch.

    such a small difference in headspeed but a big difference when it flies

    Also, what are you swinging? 600,690, 700?

    I am very interested! I am trying to lower my head speed. Can I pick your brain? Are you still using the 80HV and stock motor?

    I figured the Align 100% flat curve setup used less pitch and no gov compared to slower headspeed fitouts to begin with?
    I've settled into using 2200 and 13.5* for pitch and get pretty damn good pop out of it. Takes a bit of tweaking to get the gov set well though, I'll give flat curves the simplicity vote that's for sure. 102mm tail blades and it holds great down to 1800!
    Pretty predictable using the same pitch limits and a V curve would give lower performance compared to 100% :/

    adsfadsf9 this message is to you. I installed the older style trex600 188t gear and matching 15t pinion in my EFL. I had to install the Trex 700 tail blade 105mm on tail to get this bird to be a sport flyer. Now the tail holds well at lower head speed. If you want more detail on parts just send me a message.

    what pinnion of the 2400rpm???

  • @Tabasconate1
    @Tabasconate1 11 ปีที่แล้ว

    I know this might not get answer of course but running starlight throttle curve for the rpm put a big strain on the ESC????

      @richardmid120 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm guessing you meant straight line throttle curve? Actually the opposite is true, ESC's like to run as close to 100% as possible. Over gearing and holding the HS back with a governor puts far more stress on an ESC.
