home_widget (Package of the Week)

HomeWidget is a Plugin to make it easier to create HomeScreen widgets on Android and iOS. HomeWidget does not allow writing widgets with Flutter itself. It still requires writing the widgets with native code.

You might wait a looong while because it's not Flutter issue but android/iOS. only native components are allowed in widgets and very few of them.

This is just about ui development with some api calls. Flutter developers are not developers they are just designers. Create a framework for developers.

What is Kotlin for Android development? Also, I disagree with you saying Futter developers aren't developers. I feel like all you've seen was some fancy UI videos and assumed that everyone is making overly animated projects. Some people make word pocessors, Games, music editors etc. Flutter just provide good UI support when needed but anybody can go low level into dart and build some unique things.
Also, at the end of the day, the end user just want the app to work as expected.
Calm down and dig deeper into dart before assuming that every Futter dev is just calling APIs without reason. Fun Fact: You can build your own APIs and bundle them in your Dart and Futter projects.
