When you meet a new person you can feel self conscious, have a need to be liked and try to sell yourself so to speak. Its like performing, acting, playing a roll/image and takes effort. You have an image that you want to maintain, it's a pressure. If you 'be' your genuine self, your true authentic self, it takes no effort at all. That is freedom.
