Wow, I love that they made the boost independent of the drive circuit. Makes the pedal a lot more versatile. Great Plexi sound and great playing as always, Andy.
The Box of Rock by ZVex is like this, too. Always thought that was a brilliant idea and I used mine as a boost a lot but the fact that this pedal has the switch to make it pre/post drive is a really nice touch.
Seems like we are entering a new era of MIAB pedals. This pedal and the Petross stuff seems like an advancement of that type to my ears into more actual "power amp ready" or "IR ready" preamp pedals.

Ian, why are you talking so badly about something that you don't know? This pedal is a completely different project with respect to the box of rock. The super plexi is made as the circuit of the preamp section of the jtm45 while the box of rock uses a complete different scheme. Please don't contribute to diffuse fake news. Cheers ;)

Looks like a box of rock clone, sounds like one best I can tell”. (It’s hard to compare new Andy vs the really old PGS demos) If the topology is different, which the maker has replied saying so. (I’ll take them at their word) then great. I’m off the mark. FWIW. I own. And love my box of rock. And have nothing against this pedal. What does bug me a little is the cloning of a pedal without any meaningful changes or additions when an original is reasonably priced. (Eg. Timmy ). I AM IN NO WAY SAYING THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED HERE.
It would be just like the gear community to decide that either the vertical or horizontal version sounds slightly “better” than the other, causing one to be sought-after and WAY more expensive on the second-hand market. We’re such dorks that way. 😂

Never got to hear just the drive side with gain below noon? The one time you had it below noon you also had the boost side engaged. Also can't fully tell what the tone knob can truly do from this demo video. Don't feel like I have a good sense of all this pedal can offer after watching this one.

It legit sounds like a zvex box of rock with a toggle for the boost.... but that's not really a bad thing :) Can you compare the 2?
