    Some tips for next time:
Three must read manuals: Your cases’, your motherboard’s and your AIO cooler’s.
    Also, very important:
Cable management starts the moment you do, not at the very end. Plan out how you’re gonna want to run all cables before putting your motherboard in.

This was a really good video. It gave the feeling of an average guy learning and having a hard time. The only problems I had with my first PC was putting the ram in the wrong place and connecting the display port to my motherboard instead of my GPU.

    Those are some great specs.

I built my first PC about 2 years ago and it's time to upgrade.

only upgrade if your case is too small for good parts, don't build from scratch, not even if your mother board is damaged or you need another one, mother boards are replaceable, and it's way cheaper to upgrade part by part than build a PC from scratch.

i managed to build a 1000 dollar gaming rig (brand new and used parts). I got a ryzen 5 5600 and rx 6800xt. A 32 gb of dual channel ram. A respectable FSP hydro g 750W gold rated psu. Asus tuf b450m plus ii. 6 arctic p12 argb fans. darkflash dlm21 mesh case. darkflash dx240 AIO (replaced stock fans with arctic). A couple of 1 tb harddrive and SSD. both 2.5.
I am playing on a 1440p ultra wide monitor, so the CPU and GPU combo is great. I can play fortnite epic settings at 100 fps (max nanite and lumen), and most games at 60+ fps with some RT on. I mainly play rdr2, and I can reach a 100 frames at max.
I built this system for the past month, and I cant be happier with what I built for the price. Basically twice the power of a ps5, with twice the price. And its a PC! I can do anything I want with it. Even emulation ;) (TOTK 60 fps RT). Never had a BSOD or sudden crashes, which I was surprised, considering my gaming laptop does that a lot.
This build is a monster for its price. It took me months of planning and finding parts that are in good condition. I got the rx 6800 xt secondhand for a little under 400 dollars.
I do not plan to upgrade anytime soon, but will upgrade my CPU, motherboard, and an nvme (for PCIE 4.0). and some aesthetic stuff probably around Christmas this year until early next year.
Sidenote: I undervolted my GPU to reduce electricity bill at the same performance. 1030 mV at stock speeds. Max vram speed. Stable as hell with an average of 70 W power reduction. CPU idle temps hover around 35 to 40 deg C and 58 deg C at full load. GPU sits around 70 to 80 at full. Noise level is silent and I cant hear it even when playing in speakers.

let me explain the pc parts for you.
CPU: It processes things and explains to the pc what to do, so its kinda like the brain of the pc.
RAM: its like Short-term memory in humans, so its sorta like the brain of the pc.
SSD: long term memory, it helps store information and not forget it, like a brain would.
GPU: It processes what the pc's eyes are seeing to allow you to see a display, so its like the brain of the pc.
Conclusion: Every part functions like the brain.

Pins on the back of an Intel CPU? Go on ............. With RGB the amount of cable clutter increases but you you a bit misled while building but the plug fits into the motherboards header. Did you look at the motherboard's manual? Congrats on your build my friend !!

Its hilarious seeing first time builders scared about the cpu even tho its incredibly hard to mess it up 🤣🤣🤣

If you wanted the "Best PC money could buy", then you should've got these parts:
i9 13900KS Special Edition or the Ryzen 9 7900X3D for the CPU
ASUS ROG Strix RTX 4090 or a MSI Surpim X RTX 4090 for the GPU
Crucial T700 4TB for the SSD
Any 80+ Titainium PSU(ROG Strix is good)
Asus ROG Maximus Z790 Apex for the Motherboard
Or just watercool the whole thing with a custom loop

for the pc cables I recommend getting some nice custom cables from lian li if your pc case was white but in this case I'd recommend some nice braided cables from cablemod in black for a cleaner minimal look, gpu cable, 24pin cable, and 8 pin+4 pin cpu power cable on the top left
    =====================================================================================================
(also the wire for cpu on top left is sticking out you can put it through the hole for it that's right over the port)

I have 4tb of nearly the fastest SSDs you can get. The HDD is only for storing video content, no need to keep that stuff on an SSD.

You were so preoccupied with building the most expensive rig ever you didn't stop to think if you should, overkill

I mean for a Fortnite gamer that play @1080 yeah. But if you are a 4k gamer playing RPGs then it’s not overkill.

You mentioned in the vid that the cpu has pins on it which is true for a lot of cpus, but not the one your using, for the 13th and 12th gen intel cpus they moved the pins to the motherboard. Just thought i would mention that

I went to my friends house and he said he built his 5th pc (keep in mind he's only 15) and I was like "Oh cool man!" but boy I was in for a surprise. I was expecting specs like a Intel i7 CPU and a Nvidia RTX Geforce 3070 GPU like 16gb of ram and 245 GB of SSD like my pc but he had a intel i9 CPU a Nvidia RTX Geforce 4090 GPU, 64gb of ram and 2TB of SSD... to play roblox and roblox only. XD
