2:00:00 probably one of the cleanest, safest ereas of long beach/los angeles. With beaches, canals, 2nd street shopping, etc.. wish all of LA was this clean. I'm glad I live here

i have always wanted to move to california alot of peaple have said its really bad an i get it but its the same as every city ny is full of london also has garbage every were same with paris ect. every city is not perfect LA is far from perfect but it will always be my dream to live there
DO NOT move to LA! It is the armpit of SoCal. Only reason to go there is nightlife/entertainment on wknds. I grew up in OC in the 80s/90s. It has gone from being upper middle class families and lots of soccer moms to only the ultra-rich living there now. Also homelessness overall has gotten much much worse over the past decade or so in LA, OC and SD. Unfortunately, the politics here are shit now and everything is crazy expensive. However, to be fair, the beach is amazing, the beach bum/surfer/skater culture is super chill, and the weather is some of the best on Planet Earth. TLDR; used to be perfect, still decent/pretty good but you must have $$$ to live here.
L.A. city is only about 10% of L.A. metro. And within that, the homeless and dangerous areas are maybe 25% of that, so you have to keep it in perspective. I grew up in OC (most populous county bordering LA county) and maybe visited those areas a half dozen times in 20 years. That said, liberal policies are making these areas larger and the prosperous areas drastically more expensive.

This video is mostly in Orange County which is about 25-30 miles south of Downtown Los Angeles.
