My train of thought is, if I apply to schools in all these different countries, if I get a good offer, then how do I learn the language in time. Arent language requirements a part of the application in the first place??
Hi, In the case of Turkey, and many other non-English speaking countries, they usually give students the option to study in English or in the country's own language. And If you get accepted, you will first learn the local language. The scholarship I applied for also had this option, so if you have the necessary requirements (TOEFL/IELTS) to get into a english-taught course, you are good. If not, you could get accepted to the Turkish-taught course. And of course, you would have to first spend 9-12 months learning the language of the country before starting your studies. When students get selected for interviews, do they call all the selected students on one day only? Or take like 2-3 days or more to conduct interviews in a country of a particular city?

That depends on the conditions of the scholarship. In most cases I have seen, the most important condition of such scholarships is your GPA. After your first year, if you get exactly or above the specified GPA, you'll get the scholarship. So i guess the uni expects you to pay for your first year, yeah.
