@butylkapiva kasparov is not the "cleanest" source for urban legend like that. Legendary chess Player, but not nearly as great as a "journalist". Just saying.

Keres was hard pressed by the KGB to throw this game (check Kasparov books). Smyslov went on to win the tournament and become challenger to Botvinnik
