The true test of oil rig skill is killing the counters or countering the rig yourself. It’s all about knowing the angles to peak and using audio cues to guide you to the angles you need to be at. Good coms with your team mates or having someone making callouts on a computer station at base is massive help.
This is so ahead of the curve, I've never thought to have someone chill at base and guide us with the cameras, may get viewers on in the future to help me haha

You should do a high hour vs low hour trap base design. See what each comes up with!

As someone who has 1 hour in the game. I love this series. I have no clue how to play so it’s interesting!
I think the 8000 hour player was doing to much, i wouldve landed heli pad then just sprayed with m2 there is no reason to do anything different, all your doing is just testing speed and strategy, run and gun is the strategy for this.

To those that play, just a question has anyone ever tried to use landmines on the heli platform to deal with the Heavy Scientist?
Great video, it seemed that no matter the hours they all wanted to do it the same way, the controlling factor was flight time in the game and a small amount of map knowledge.
All the participants did an outstanding job, as a non player I just enjoy watching the tactics that are implemented by the different experience level of all the players. Again well done,

I always try to get on red room. It feels safer than crane. I like the position ducky parked his mini and cleared blue scientists. Maybe I will try that.
4.2k hours for me. I would have mini'd to helipad, and just sprayed from there with M2. Was surprised noone took the M2, for sure. Probably would have died falling off a railing or something like the one guy did. I'd usually leave dock bot alive for boat counters as well.

im interested to see how viable an attack heli would be at quickly clearing the top guys seeing as you can hover and swap seats as a solo now
Yeah they'd be so much fun to try, would need 2 people in the heli though
@@MaxsRust no a solo could do it, the airborne update added a function where you press a button and your heli can stay floating still in the air without a pilot, which allows a solo to switch seats and use the turret without crashing

My go to strategy is comp bow fire arrows and scuba
i dont use the crane i use the fuel tankers crane is to easy to be countered. even if you use the jump up on to the red room you can still be countered easy taking it from the tankers gives you more room more space and also a better out look for helis and boats wouldnt do it any other way 5k hour player here.
Where do u get those npc 8k hrs more like 2khrs

i have 2 strats for rig depending on how busy the server is (i play on a ZA server because of ping). if it's quiet a take a tug in and bolty them from the bottom before going to red - and i use 1 RF C4 under crane, so 1 shot each and then kill all 11 heavies with the C4. If it's busy i go in with heli and nades and sit on red room. i think i have 2k hours.
