For those who don't know, buffeting on aircraft only ocours at transonic speeds, or in areas of high turbulence. In both PW and AC7, there is no change from sub sonic to super sonic hence no buffeting. In ace combat 1,2, 3 and 4 it was a feature.
Ace Combat X, the one for PSP, had buffeting camera too! Similarly to AC3, the shaking appears when the plane approaches 4,000 km/h, however, in ACX very few planes can achieve a speed of 4,000 or more (such as the Fenrir, or a Cariburn tuned for maximum speed).
Me and my brother in ace combat be like: Buffetiiiing.. Buffetiiiiing... still bufetting...... still bufetting..... *moments later* Still buffeting..... sti- whoops, we crashed.
Surprisingly, most aircraft in AC3 are capable of reaching that speed only in the International version. Whereas in the JP version, most of its speed is being nerfed with the only max being around ~2700 km/h. (Please correct me if I stated it wrong.)
Night Raven is a superplane just like the ADF series and it's really tanky in addition to goddamn supermaneuverability and the pulse TLS as it's main gun.
Ac3 cannot be repeated. Physics law ,sound engine ,AI assistant voice ,HUD ,game story and etc. is well considered in it I don't watch your videos seriously when I notice that, there is nothing about AC3 inside it. 😂
nah, should stay in the past or atleast as a console exclusive. it dosent provide any benefit unless you have a controller with vibration on for the feeling, otherwise its just gonna be another annoying display gimmick like motion blur
When used all the time - will be annoying, yes. But when used sparingly it's very cool. Most planes in Ace Combat 3 can't reach the speed of shaking in horizontal flight. So you only get a few seconds of shaking in a sharp dive or when flying a "speed demon" plane in a straight line. In both situations shaking adds to the experience. Also, the export version of AC3 (showed here) cranked up all planes' speed compared to the original, making it easier to reach and maintain shaking speed long enough to become annoying.
A smooth camera movement is just easier for clarity of gameplay. It's the reason why every #Gamer turns off b----hit like Camera Shake or Motion Blur, Parallaxing and Film Grain, etc. and so on and so forth. The whole "Camera rattling as you're going Mach 2" is neat and all, but I'd prefer visual clarity.
well i think it's a great way to challenge yourself for me personally because I can't play shit any above play station one well i can play 3ds and other games but not ps2 games
He showed broken US version wich have +1000 km/h for all plane's maximum speed, in original japanese version you will be lucky if you see this shaking once through all 52 missions.

and as an indication of when a stall is forming at high alpha

Bro I swear you are so underrated
I don't understand why they didn't implemented this element at all in their other installment.
I suspect this is because the PS2 had a rumble pack in each controller to provide this kind of feedback.
When you reach 3k+, the immersion and sound just intense, especially if you push down altitude

That's true! :)

what is the hard limit to how high you can fly in 3
In Atmosphere - probably around 45k ft, but haven't tested it
In Space - unlimited
In Electrosphere - also, unlimited
@@mathmocha1331 electrosphere still has a limit to how low you can fly no 💀 i remember crashing into the "ground" in there
AC games: Mach 4? That's a big number, big boy.
AC3: Mach 4? HORRRYY SSSHHHHHH...

In addition, Ace Combat 7 does have Camera Rattle if you're in First Person Cockpit view.
