    Thank you CJ, this is the stuff I have been waiting for you to show. You have been speak1ing on this for a long time and now I have a visual reference reference of what you were speaking of and how you shoot out of your center. So thanks for the glimpse into what you do so well, and most of all I love your stories.....

      Thank you and I'm glad you're starting to see the Center - I'm working with a man from Miami currently and he couldn't quite understand it until I showed him in person - it's rewarding to pass this knowledge it makes the game much easier and it's my secret to playing at a high level with little practice - Connecting to each shot is the Key.

      Yes I was up in the players room while we were losing our last match-well one guy was losing it for us. Everyone else played hard and was part of the team.
      When I was up there it was me and Doug the snooker coach(rip) and on Europe’s table Darren was beet red pounding balls like he was mad at them. Yohan and Melling were just watching. I peeked around the curtain a few times to watch this. It’s not a knock on Darren at all. He’s one of the best big pressure players in tourneys of his era, seems the bigger the stage the better Darren played. I respect and like him, this is just an observation of what he was doing. I’m certain had he played, he would have had his composure.
      Johnny was 6-0 and everyone(including me) thought he was the pick to play Darren in the hill/hill singles match for the Cup.
      Little did I know SVB was going to play Darren had we not lost the last match that was going on while Darren was up in the players room. You, SVB and JA were the only ones who knew SVB was playing.
      In hind sight SVB was the pick. He was playing great just won the US Open and seemingly everything else around that time(some things seem not to change).
      Had they played id have loved to seen everyone’s response to SVB getting called up to play.
      While SVB hasn’t had a stellar Mcup career, I firmly believe that day in that circumstance and all other factors SVB was the absolute best decision to play.
      I’ve spoke with JA about this 30 times or more over the last 14 years and he and I share the same thoughts. He’s 1000X smarter in pool than I am. But this one was clear.
      You did a great job with what you had to work with. One bad apple…..(not darren).
      Anyways fun memories. And I hope we are both around in 14 more years to talk about this.
      It’s the life we chose and the game is the teacher.
      💪💪Fatboy

    Im an english 8 ball player, we play with a smaller cue ball, but im sure this works, look forward to trying it out next in our next league match 👍
    Also, what is a touch of english ? Check side ? Thanks

    • @cjwiley1541
      @cjwiley1541  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It's not a touch of English it's a touch of Inside - Google my name And touch of inside - there's a 90 min video about it on my website

    When you are this good you can't tell how good he is cause it all looks easy. The hardest shot he had was the 14 and it was easy. Someone not on his speed level may actually appear better because they would be sinking harder shots and doing way more with the cue ball to get back in line. Flashy is basically someone who got out of line. Then the two players match up and rack upon rack just keep piling up in bunches and before you know it you are getting destroyed.

    • @cjwiley1541
      @cjwiley1541  หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's correct! ✔️

  • @abcxyz-dy3yb
    @abcxyz-dy3yb 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    It means that you divide the object ball into 8 equal pieces, four of them are reachable by aligning center to center (8/8- 7/8 - 6/8 - 5/8), and the other four are reachable when you align center to edge (4/8 - 3/8 - 2/8 - 1/8).
    And you triangulate when going down on the shot..
    Am I correct?

    • @cjwiley1541
      @cjwiley1541  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I'm actually using the Center or Edge of the Object Ball for references and use a specific part of the cueball to create the 4 angles - this happens automatically when cueing to the inside (no English)or spinning with outside English to create the angle desired - the Centering is the Key to make this process natural and inable the players to feel and Connect to the shot.

    Can you please explain your grip? You’ve said before that you grip like Shane. Is that mostly with your palm instead of your fingers? Do you ever slip stroke or use a wrist snap?

    What tyoe of cue you have.I see you must like the carbon fiber as opposed to wood

    • @cjwiley1541
      @cjwiley1541  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I've had that Bludworth for 32+ years and the Bull Carbon Shaft is the only one I've found that hits like wood....with the benefits of Carbon especially that they don't warp.

    Of course you can run a rack when you set the rack in your favor. All the back rows are solids. Just like Corey Deuel , rigging the break…

    • @cjwiley1541
      @cjwiley1541  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's how the game of rotation is racked I can put them in any order, I've ran 4 in a row, it's not as easy as it looks. 😊

    Using the same little flaws that cause people to miss balls but with forethought to make the shots easier.

    • @cjwiley1541

    What was the point of breaking if you were just going to pick the white up as soon as you realised your break was dry? You might as well have scattered the balls and just started from there

      That's playing against the ghost man

    • @cjwiley1541
      @cjwiley1541  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      This is called "playing against the Ghost" - it's a well known gambling proposition and good for practice but most players do it with 9-Ball or 10-Ball - 15 balls is for those seeking a championship test.

      You must be new to pool, that's a drill called "playing the ghost" not like a game against an opponent.
