Today we have another example of Soviet power, a new heavy premium tank of the eighth level - this is the KV-4 of the Kreslav guide.
In fact, information about this unit appeared quite a long time ago; it was rolled out at a super test and now it has become known that it will be given out for battles on the Global Map. Of course, this may mean that quite soon we will be able to see this tank in random, and someone will decide to compete for it, so it is very important to know the KV-4 Kreslavsky tank characteristics and have a general understanding of it.
For starters, we have a standard safety margin for our level, but less than the original KV-4 and poor basic visibility of 360 meters, which is quite typical for USSR equipment.
At the same time, the KV-4 of the Kreslavsky TTX has rather mediocre armor for a heavy vehicle. The frontal armor both in the hull and at the turret will do a good job of holding back shots from tanks at a lower level, but even our classmates will penetrate us without any problems, because we don’t have any tilting armor plates as such. Of course, if you tighten the body, you can tank something and these should always be used. The situation is aggravated by the non-preferential level of our premium fights; it will be really difficult with dozens.
Regarding aircraft booking, everything is much better. The fact is that if you tank with your KV-4 Kreslavsky World of Tanks in a reverse diamond shape, it should take a hit very confidently.
But in mobility we are not so bad. Despite its shed size, the KV-4 Kreslavsky WoT tank has a good maximum speed and 13 horsepower per ton of weight; for a heavy vehicle, such figures can be considered an advantage. Another thing is that there is no maneuverability; after all, the huge dimensions leave their mark.
In terms of weapons, we are very similar to our brother KV-4, because we have exactly the same 107 mm cannon on board and the difference in characteristics is minimal.
The Kreslavsky KV-4 gun does not have a record, but a very decent alpha strike and an average rate of fire, allowing it to inflict about 1,700 damage per minute without taking into account equipment. Frankly speaking, our DPM is ordinary, small and rather large.
The armor penetration of this unit is good, we will confidently penetrate our classmates and equipment of a higher level, but for battles at the bottom of the Kreslavsky KV-4 list, the tank must carry approximately 30% of the gold ammunition, fortunately, there are plenty of shells in the ammunition load.
Please note that our accuracy is slightly higher than that of the KV-4 and this is good news. However, even with this, the spread is quite large, we do not converge as quickly as we would like, and stabilization in motion leaves much to be desired.
The Kreslavsky KV-4 heavy tank has average elevation angles; a gun declination of 7 degrees downward will be sufficient.
Advantages and disadvantages
As always, our guest today has both a number of strengths and a certain number of weaknesses. To play a tank as efficiently as possible, you need to know such nuances, and now we will analyze them separately.
