      Ehh, I'd go for the cuddling gentlemen hands for my brothers and I at my age.. respect, but boy clean clean gloves. And I'm like ahhh nooo.. he's too expensive, and important now. THAT'S why I took him to the chiropractor visit with me. Simple.

    Careful, I do this more prone against a bench with elbows on it and kneeling. Its great for stretching and the joint strength or alignment, but be careful, if I bow my torso down too far and stretch my head back too hard I start to black out. Must pinch an artery or blood vessels or nerve maybe. Is only at the most extreme deep part of the stretch it does, but don't wanna hit ur head if it does it to you.

    How it works ? I feel my body sinks, as the toes press into the floor. The largest muscles the triceps are there must keep practicing...

    Amazing exercise I’ve got chronic mid back pain done so many scans therapies etc. but no idea why. But this works wonders thank you

    The first time l did it - it felt so good! I wanted to keep on doing it.
    My upper back muscles hurt for 10 minutes. Thanks Doc Mandell. I didn't know l was starting to hunch over until l saw a pic of myself.

    When I do this I feel it in my lower spine because I have lumbar lordosis from compensation. How do I stretch the thorasic spine while keeping the lumbar spine out of it?

    Thank you.. This however doesn't work for my hunchback because my ligaments are so shortened it would only flex my low back.. i have to go to a biophysics chiropractor so they can ratchet my back to a table really hard because of how rigid the curve was. Almost done with my 36 treatments and the xrays show progress but I'll need 36 more.. CBP as its called is a very rare kind of chiro which fixes the root of the problem instead of people being adjusted for many years without fixing the root of the problem and thats what CBP does.. all the chiro i went to before never addressed this kind of stuff with my spine especially how my back is what caused my neck problems AND headaches brain dysfunction spinal cord, ligament tension etc.. :(

      i think it helps shoulders too so maybe not, i came here looking for help from shoulder pain and it said i probably have kyphotic posture

    Ok, i have to confess something, it's embarrassing, but I laughed so much i couldn't breath. I didn't read the caption, just saw a man at a wall , hands behind his neck, now the police on a call i was on had a man in that position to frisk him. Tapped to watch the video AND it took a second but there is Dr. Mandell doing what he does, helping us. My stars i need a vacation from work.     This would be very difficult for me. If I have my back to the wall my head will not even touch it. My head is out about 3” away. I cannot lay down flat on the floor either. Same as the wall it does not go down. Very frustrating. If I try laying flat on the floor I can’t breathe I start to panic.

    Work your rhomboid muscles and rear delts they’ll help you pull your shoulders back , most people have overdeveloped front delts that get tight and pull you forward .

    Doesn’t work so well if you are not flexible especially in the shoulder and wings areas. Also if you have really tight spinal muscles these techniques tend to not work when other muscle groups overcompensate

    Also address your cortisol if you have a hump. Not everything is manual, it’s emotional and cellular.

    I started doing this week ago.. I’ll combine it with other youtube videos for spine and neck posture. I read a theory that you can get iih from wrong posture and Im trying to fix mine while im on meds
