So glad to have found your channel! I work full time from hone, and my 4-year-old goes to a Montessori Pre-K in the mornings. He’s neurodivergent (as am I) and his teachers and Occupational Therapist have recommended that we try to incorporate additional academic enrichment at home since he seems to thrive when being challenged to learn new things. I’ve been eyeing the Oak Meadow curriculum for about a year, and finally bit the bullet and ordered the Kindergarten set during their February sale. I’m hoping to continue homeschooling once he ages out of his current school when he turns 6, so I’m so encouraged to see that you’re managing to balance homeschooling with working full time, and using the same curriculum I am! I will definitely be following along! :)
So happy to hear, I know it can be discouraging at times, but hang in there, & give yourself grace through the journey. I’ll be coming out with my kindergarten Follow up video at the end of the school year + 1st grade curriculum unboxing of the Oak Meadow.🥰
Thank you so much for your video! Will be on the lookout for your end of year review video. Also, I checked the description bix for a link to the planner, but don't see it listed. Could you share that? I love the whole vibe of it!
Absolutely! You are most welcome! Very pleased to hear you found the video helpful! Yes, we just finished Kindergarten OM and we received first grade so we will start that in Mid July probably. Here is the link for the planner. It is absolutely amazing! Homeschool Lesson Planning Minimalist Notebook (Nature Series): 12 Month, 52 Week Undated Planner by schoolnest a.co/d/4RwZULw
Hello there, unfortunately not. Literally our entire house is a classroom at this point. Kids have little desk in their bedrooms, our kitchen area is where we keep all our posters and the living room is where we have the shelves and keep all their supplies. Honestly the best advise I have is to just make it work for you and your house. I’ve tried looking on Pinterest for ideas but since I’m limited on space I ended up not even doing any of those ideas. It would be nice to have a dedicated classroom tho 😞
