  • This is another video in sequence to the others of how to wire a house. In this episode I wanted to talk you through a panel install because I like to have all of the low boxes, high boxes and drilling done before I start running wire.

Have seen several of your episodes and wanted to thank you, this is great information. Please maintain this format, short talk about what you gonna do than go to work. Don't need any fancy intro or graphics , don't go crazy buying YT equipment, keep it simple as is. BTW, your videographer seems like a great helper. Blessings!

Great series so far, man. I only have two things to suggest.
    1. You took out a block to hang the panel, why not just reuse that for romex support instead of cutting a new one?
    2. Why not drill all the holes above the panel before mounting it? Then you have no saw dust (chips) to clean out.

I’m liking how laid back but detailed you are, but small suggestion, when cutting the tyvek to remove the nails... maybe make a 1/2 circle upside down the cut flap falls down and still covers the wall

A really good method is to explain what you're going to do, then you can fast forward when you actually do the work. That keeps your videos closer to the 10 minute sweet spot in terms of length. But, thanks, I am building a 38x40 garage with attic trusses and I found your videos helpful. Thanks.

you should stop knocking other trades ,have seen you once again remove a splice 2by and not seal the air gap before installing a box or panel .in this case that metal box is going to get wet from condensation from the air gap behind it

If you have to measure several places to locate a 14.5 inch space between studs then your framer did a piss poor job. They should all be the same space.

The panel should NOT be sitting flush with the 2x4's. Drywall is most likely be used and it would be better looking if it is flush with the drywall.

Now hold up, wait a minute! Isn't that electric panel placed upside down? I thought the main breaker switch was supposed to be always at the top part of the load center.

There is no reason that the job site should look like a garbage dump when you are done. Also consider other trades, cut the house wrap in straight lines. It needs to be taped. ✌🏻🇺🇸
