I honestly feel like when Xanthus meets a new person, his voice is gentle and calm as if trying to convince him he's a noble and trustworthy king, only to lure them in with lies and trickery.
As i sayied in the developer's channel: Tails' expressions of sadness and betrayal is truly there, he can't believe with his eyes that the Hero that he care so much, that was like a brother to him, turned out to be a monster like that in end. (even though its a monster that controls Sonic) Knuckles' expressions of weakness and angry, both in his voice and poses is truly the touch of his personality, thinking that he was also betrayed for the same friend that one day helped saving his home and him, now turned Knuckles into something horrible like that. Dr Ivo is different from the others, but that only shows how idiot he is for believing that "serving grants protection" since that he thinks he will remain himself if he does so, calling Xanthus highness and saying things just to amuse it. It is clear that he believe the "right side" or the "stronger one". Of course, Metal is only following his program, protecting Ivo is his only mission, but at some points it sure looks like that he will turn against him for his own safety. (at least in the comics he did)
I think Eggman is resisting imo. Eggman is known for having a big ego and this leads him to believe that he can't be defeated. He's also not the kind of guy to let someone else take over, not even share leadership. He's the only one of the 3 main souls (not including metal bc he would likely follow Eggman) to have a confident look on his face, showing that he has not given in to Xanthus, plus this can be supported by his constant changes throughout his part, turning between his normal and dead counter part (which is pretty strange considering no one else did it) Maybe it could be him trying to resist being controlled. lastly, I'm pretty sure he was the one to cause Pico to join the fight. His monologue before the giant ring even appears suggests that he knew that Pico was coming to fight Xanthus. Potentially supported by Xanthus saying "oh good, another guest" shows a bit of surprise (although it can be interpreted in multiple ways) He didn't know that Pico was coming and that meant that he had no control of the Latter's arrival. I think that Knuckle's and Tail's descriptions are accurate though
so in the desc of the fighters inst,theres a download to a google drive,and in that google drive is inst,vocals and 2 xqnthus lore.txt the 2nd one is mainly xanthus meeting the other exes but the 1st one is what he is,why the souls arent mangled up,and it says that tails and knuckles have accepted their fate,they only warn others of the impending doom eggman however is constantly trying to break free,resulting in him losing control and thus going to corpse mode so eggman is rebelling against xqnthus

Huge improvement from the last. However there is still some flaws like in 3rd person view, bf’s face can hardly be seen from a angle where it should’ve been cleared. Majin needs a bit more work, and metal should look more modern, not classic body type. Overall pretty good work and phenomenal. Definitely better then the last👍
Xanthus's powers : can shape shift and is deceptively accurate to what he is shape shifting into plus he can copy most of if not every powers of the things he shape shifted into can cause a magnitude 1000000000000000000000000000000000000 earthquake with his voice can go through time and space being able to teleport can become energy and create energy and with his speed alone he can punch with infinite force
