      Not to be sarcastic here so I'll be a little sassy. There's quite a few hours of labor into one of these and since I don't employ Chinese slave labor, it would cost $250 or so. So I don't offer them. Get a welder and some 20ga steel and give it a go.

    You built a really nice piece brother! I know you like the cranbrook frames and well that's my only complaint! I think starting with a stronger frame is important! I will give the cranbrook it's dues though, they have a beautiful shape! You are my favorite motorised bike builder on TH-cam! Keep up the good work!

    pretty cool . i can see why you used a Cranbrook over a drop loop frame . the cheapest drop loop board track racer frame i found was like 400 dollars give or give a few dollars . turned out great . i would love to run across a board track racer barn find . dought i will here in michigan but you never know . of course my wife would be mad as a hornet if i get yet another bike lol .

      Take a 29incher Huffy Millennial cruiser, cut it in half and convert to drop loop

  • @glennspears839
    @glennspears839 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I used to build Cranbrook's. I've picked up a couple older bikes, from old peoples yard sales. #1, 1960 Murray SonicFlight a 26" middle weight and #2 a 1965 Murray middle weight 26". Both turned into board bikes. I did save all the beautiful chrome fenders.

    • @HughesMotorized
      @HughesMotorized  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Very cool! Watch for cracks in those fenders. If they fail, you'll crash instantly. LOTS of horror stories out there. Ride on !

    Hello. Thank you so much information. You said in the video you used a 1/8 coupling for your petcock. Are you able to use the 10mm petcock that seems to come with the kit or are you buying an aftermarket petcock to fit the npt threads?

    • @HughesMotorized
      @HughesMotorized  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Most standard tanks with the female fitting will accept 1/8" NPT threads. They are so close to the 10mm pipe threads that they work just fine

    when u cut down seat tube what do you use or how to clamp seatpost tight.

    • @HughesMotorized
      @HughesMotorized  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      I weld it into place. You can cut off original clamp, lower seat tube and weld clamp back on if you want. I just make the seat go as low as possible for looks, not comfort.

    • @HughesMotorized
      @HughesMotorized  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I currently don't sell them. They take awhile to make and for me to charge enough most people pass. I don't have them made in China using near-slave labor so I cannot compete with that. You can buy a welder and make your own far cheaper if you want
