What a brilliant interview! I have been counting down the hours and it was so worth it. The Underground Railroad was beautifully written and you could feel that it was rooted in empathy for what Black people suffered and survived. Renata's questions were thoughtful and Pierre's answers were equally respectful! Time well spent.
