Final Flash’s build up is so incredible Vegeta scream the music & the fact that Cell is actually worried makes it amazing it’s my favorite attack in DBZ. & yeah Vegeta got owned immediately 😂
In the original, the Final Flash scene is rather brilliant. Vegeta knows he is outclassed and the only way to be a match for Cell is to hit him with a *fully charged* Final Flash. The issue with that is that releasing it at full strength means charging it for a while, and an attack with that much build up is easy to interrupt or avoid. Vegeta's solution? Taunt Cell. "If you really want to test your strength, stay right where you are!!" He is appealing to Cell's cockiness to tempt Cell to take his attack head on. The abridged version skips over that entirely.
Not entirely. Abridged did give a challenge to Cell. “In mere moments, all you’ll be feeling, **IS** ***OBLIVION**.” And Cell’s response? “Go ahead. **Flip* that coin.” That was his way of saying do it.
@@Kyzen_Wrellexactly. It’s the Goku in Cell’s biology that makes him want to see how hard Vegeta can hit him. Because like Goku, he wants a good fight, a good challenge

fun fact: The Final flash has enough energy to kill Cell. the reason he lived was he noticed just in time how strong it was and barely side stepped it. Very interesting to see that A non moving cell would die this episode.
It’s worth noting. The Kienzan/Destructi Disc shattering on Perfect Cell is an anime only event. Every time it’s used (which is rare because Toryiama had the memory of a goldfish.
