    If you’re new to programming but want a career in tech, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND applying to one of Springboard’s online coding bootcamps (use code ALEXLEE for $1,000 off): bit.ly/3HX970h

    Alex that was great. I never found that last "en","in" in the documentation so I'm glad you did! Keep up the good work. Glad to be in the new programmer support group as well

    Alex I just started doing hacker rank at the beginning of this Christmas break and completed this challenge not long ago. I watched your video nonetheless and your problem solving and the way in which you solved was certainly different to mine. Thank you for a great video.

    Absolutely loved this! Please keep the programming projects videos coming! It really helps me out in understanding how to tackle problems and how to program better. Thanks again Alex!

    This is one of the best videos on coding practice/challenge I have ever found. Wish my teachers would teach like you do. Can you make this into a series and upload a challenge solved every week. I would highly appreciate it.

    That was a very good video. Keep up the good work. I recommend continuing your method of teaching. Anyone can lecture, but not everyone can teach.

    Hey Alex! I'm a loyal viewer of your tutorials. I have watched all your Java tutorials and I learn a lot from those. 😊 But can I request that you make a video about reading a class diagram? Because I'm having a hard time dealing with that 😂 Hoping you'll read this comment. More power! 😉

    Hey dude! I’m a 3rd year at university in England and every holiday I tutor a 15 year old in Java. I’ve had a lot of success using some of the simple programs you show here but was wondering if you had some ideas for slightly harder programs!! My issue is the stuff I’m used to is way too difficult for him but he’s advanced past most of the simple programs. I was thinking of doing using some linked objects in a large zoo but Im open to any ideas you have!! Love the vids, keep it up :)

    Hey Alex, could you please make a program from start to finish explaining the basic and the intermediate concepts of clean coding? I watched so many videos but when it comes to coding by myself I go all over the place. I think someone creating a program from scratch that will work, but explaining concepts like abstract classes and why they do it, choosing ArrayList instead of something else and so on would help a lot of people I guess. I know I am asking for a lot of your time but this would really help because you are great with examples and explanations.

      @@DavePueyoCarter For everyone wondering why they're getting a "?" symbol for thier Indian currency symbol, its bc you have to run Hacker Rank's compiler on Java 7 mode bc they haven't updated thier stuff

    I did the same with the India Locale:
    String india = NumberFormat.getCurrencyInstance(new Locale ("en", "in")).format(payment);
    but it returns ₹123,231.00, with this symbol: ₹
    My solution was use the replace method in String to replace for "Rs.", like this: replace("₹","Rs.")
